I was saddened to hear of the closing of Wholesale tropicals in London!
Whilst I was away in Brazil last month I was a little out of touch with the local aquatic news here in the UK, I have just read the sad news that one of the UK's best known and well respected, independent tropical fish shops have closed their doors after 60 years in business!
Things are getting more difficult to run a business in the UK (or to just run a household!! ) increasing rents, rates and costs of living are creeping up and making life difficult for many.
Premier Aquatics are currently in a good position but we have to battle against ever increasing bills and other difficulties. We have a great, loyal and passionate customer base and love helping the aquatic community.
Wholesale tropicals closing does serve as a reminder to "use it or loose it"
We understand that you can buy virtually everything online these days, but nothing beats standing in front of the tanks of your local shop and discussing the hobby with passionate staff. We offer advice, water testing, professional opinions, knowledge and experience. We can import the specific fish that you are looking for, in short an online Amazon transaction is faceless, you are just a number and rarely will you be able to call the seller for help and advice!
Shop with Premier aquatics (or your own local independent) and help keep us alive for another 60 years!
