Equestrian vaulting - gymnastics and dance on horseback - is practiced by performers of any age or gender at the competitive and non-competitive levels, as well as therapeutically, and is considered the safest among all equestrian sports! Today, vaulting is often performed in circus acts, but it is also one of the ten competitive disciplines recognized by the International Federation for Equestria

n sports (Fédération Équestre Internationale - FEI). Vaulting routines can be performed individually, in pairs or pas de deux, triples, or in teams of up to eight members, and routines are performed at either the walk, trot, or canter.
