Gents, if your hands are softer than two-ply tissue you may want to dig deep to find your inner cowboy before it’s too late.
Horse rescue is mostly women. And not the fragile kind. We are talking about women who casually handle 1,000-pound animals, swing saddles as if they were nothing, and ride with their thighs because balance matters. A lot. 😉
You might show up thinking you are helping horses (and you are).
You might leave knowing how to lasso (because rope skills are important), lead, and handle things that could flatten you if you get a little cocky (who doesn't love a bit of ... 🐓 attitude).
You might also discover that horsewomen appreciate strong hands (really strong), steady confidence, and those arm muscles you develop with all that shoveling.
No experience required. We will teach you. Confidence encouraged. Respect required. Work boots on. Shirts are optional once it gets hot. We will not judge.
Come help horses. Learn real cowboy skills.
At worst, you gain muscle, grit, and a story.
Best case, you become the fantasy no one ever had about an accountant. ✏️
