Re*****on’s MISSION: PAIR A VET WITH A PET

As most of you are already aware, we have been raising a litter of Chocolate Labrador puppies. We sold most of the puppies and had one left. We decided that we wanted to do something special with this puppy. SO, we have partnered with Zach Abulencia owner of Common Canine LLC out of Syracuse to train this puppy to eventually become a service pet for a Veteran. Zach’s years of dog training experience and his unique approach to train a dog to meet the specific needs of the owner are the reason we felt he was a great match for our Mission. Zach has been wanting to do something like this for a while now, so the opportunity came at great time! We have the dog, he has the training experience and capabilities, so now what?

Here’s our Mission:
• Find a Veteran that would benefit from having a service dog
• Train the dog to assist the Veteran in his daily life
• Train the Veteran along side the dog to bond with him and become the companion of a lifetime

How can you help?
• Nominate a Veteran you feel would benefit from having a service dog in their life
• Send us or Common Canine LLC a message explaining why you feel this Veteran is the person who should be chosen to receive this special animal
• Messages/letters must be received no later than November 1, 2021 and can be sent via email or messenger
• Veteran chosen will be announced on Veteran’s Day (November 11, 2021) and Re*****on will be placed with the Veteran on Memorial Day Weekend 2022.
