For those that don't know Jewels didn't like me at all at the meet and greet and it took quite some time for her to start liking me. Now we are to the point where she's okay with me petting her on HER terms.

THATS why I love this job, the opportunity to win over cats and show their best side even when they aren't fully comfortable with me at first.

Absolutely BUZZING right now !!! All the courses of my course have been completed SUCCESSFULLY.

3 parts left to do:

- Shelter Experience which i will start soon (work has slowed a bit so i can focus on doing this without interference on the cat sitting. 25 hrs working with kitties 🥰

- Pet CPR course which i'll have to complete, which will give me sooo much needed experience and something to be able to help a cat if god forbid the situation ever arises.

- Final test, i'll be honest i've done so well on the tests so far that im not even worried at the moment about the big 1

The face of the company is no more. Tonight we had to make the horrible decision to let STRIPE go. He was only 2 years old, but got hit earlier today by a car. Melissa rushed him to the emergency vet, while I finished my visits for the day. He had a fractured jaw and lost his vision and possibly other trauma so we did the humane thing and decided to let him run free.

I'm completely broken at the moment, but gotta stay strong for the others.

I'll miss you STRIPE.

So today we did something a tat bit different. After our morning sit we had to rush to the WJZ studios to help Baltimore County Animal Shelter raise some awareness about the importance of having FOSTERS and ADOPTERS.

Had a fun week so far including a new client . Watched them for a few days while their cat daddy was away. They still getting used to me but we are getting there.

Been working on probably 1 of the most important modules of my Cat Training classes. Cat Behavior Management and Treatment.

Was nervous for this 1 in particular as to me this is important for me as a catsitter as well. Finding out what makes a cat tick and then trying to resolve it, is what got me into doing all of this. So i am absolutely over the moon to have scored a 92%.

Mind baffling, less then a year and a half in and we are closing in on 100 bookings. Never thought The Pawfect Trip would grow this fast. Excited to see where the future takes me.
