It looks like some snow and nasty weather might be heading our way, and I want to make sure you're all safe and sound! ❄️ While I’m cozy in my warm spot, our team might need to adjust our hours tomorrow depending on how things go. Please be sure to check back for any updates before coming in, just to be sure we’re here and ready for you and your pets!

🎉🐾 Hey fur-riends, it’s Mick, your favorite hospital cat here! 🐱 As we wrap up another year, I just want to paw-sitively thank all of you for trusting Thrive Pet Urgent Care with your furry family members. ❤️

It’s been a year full of cuddles, belly rubs, and of course, making sure everyone gets the best care possible (I’ve been supervising, of course 😉). Whether you’ve been in for a vaccine visit or an emergency visit, you’ve helped make this year so special for all of us.

🎄🕎🐾 Hey there, fur-iends! It's Mick, your favorite hospital cat, here with a quick holiday update! 🐾🕎🎄

I just wanted to let you all know that we'll be closing at 8pm tonight (Christmas Eve), so make sure to get all your pet care needs in before then! 🎅✨

We'll be closed tomorrow, Christmas Day, and the 1st night of Hanukkah so our staff can spend some quality time with their loved ones (and maybe sneak in some treats for me 😸). 🎁

But don’t worry! We’ll be back at it bright and early, reopening at 10am on Thursday, December 26. 🌟

In honor of you, we're expanding our hours to 10 AM to 10 PM effective immediately! 🕙🎉 That means more time to take care of your pets when they need us the most. Whether it’s an urgent care visit or vaccines, we’re here for you! 🐾💙💚
🐾 A quick reminder: We do accept walk-ins, but it's always a good idea to call ahead to check our capacity — especially after 8 PM, as we may not be able to accept incoming cases based on how busy we are. We want to make sure we can give every pet the care they deserve, and we don’t want to turn anyone away at the door. 🐾☎️

The holiday season is upon us, and we want to make sure your furry friends stay happy, healthy, and safe during all the festivities. Here are some important reminders as you prepare for Thanksgiving:

🐾 Boarding Your Pets?
If your pet will be staying at a boarding facility while you're away, now is the time to make sure their vaccines are up to date! We now offer walk-in vaccine services for your convenience. Don’t wait until the last minute – call us today to schedule or for more details.

🚗 Traveling with Your Pet?
If you're planning to travel with your pet, here are a few tips:

Pack essentials: Bring your pet’s food, water, medications, and any comfort items (blanket, toy, etc.).

ID check: Ensure your pet’s ID tags and microchip info are current.

Car safety: Secure your pet in the vehicle to prevent distractions – carriers or pet seatbelts work best!

Breaks & hydration: Take frequent breaks and keep your pet hydrated on long trips.

🍽️ Dangerous Foods to Avoid on Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving meals are often full of foods that can be harmful (or even toxic) to your pets! Here are a few to be extra cautious about:

🩵 Check Your Candy Bowl: Keep chocolate, sugar-free candies, and other sweets out of reach. They can be harmful to pets!

💚 Costume Cautions: If you’re dressing up your pet, ensure the costume is comfortable and doesn't restrict their movement or vision. Always do a trial run!
