Thankful Thursday!
Doing a little throwback to last week and Eva attending the Women’s Business Summit!
And sometimes you have to mess with the musher a bit…😏
Big thanks to NORTH DAKOTA and all her supporters. Like she says, “it takes a village to raise a kid, but it takes a state to raise a musher!”
Thank you!
Her thank you and good bye speech for being a
"junior" musher at the junior Iditarod banquet. She did great considering this was off the cuff after being awake for 2 days and mushing/racing caring for her dogs the entire time.
I'm late in sharing it, so I apologize!

Recap of the season 💗🐾
2024 Alaska Recap
Talkin Alaska, racing, and Divas...
One more video for y’all so you can see how happy the dogs were to be home!
💗🐾
The best sight for sure!!!
Thank you everyone for praying! We are going to enjoy the family being home! But we have lots to share so be on the lookout for that soon! 💗💗🎉🎉
Most of y’all aren’t on Instagram and perhaps aren’t following Eva’s personal account but she gave me permission to share this…
🤣🤣
(Update comin)
#teamnorthdakota is in Canada 🇨🇦
They arrived in the neighboring country last night and served up some supper for the divas! Everyone ate like a champ as you can spy some Stowaways eating away.
They will traverse the mountains for the next few days so cell coverage will be minimal. It’s cold. In the well below negative degree Fahrenheit temps.
Everything seems to be going well. 🙏 it continues!
Eva Robinson - 19th Place!!
We are so proud!
Into deshka with all 10!! They checked out Kikkan but cleared her to keep moving. They look so good, y’all!!! So good!
They might not be fast but they be mighty!
So proud of her and her divas! 43 miles to go 💗🐾
Coming in to Deshka Landing!
Skruff and Bolt looking great in lead!
Keep in mind the trackers are doing their best updating as they can.
We learned it will be a 79 mile run to the halfway due to overflow so it will be a 158 mile race. It’s gonna be slower this second half so we are expecting Eva to have a long evening.
Everyone looks good. Still a team of 10! Pray for endurance to get to Yetna Station!
Before the start! Sorry - I totally acknowledge how annoying my voice is in this video 😆 feel free to mute me!
This was a little 360 shot of the dogs running today and what the “behind the scenes before the start” looks like!
Eva looks to be doing well. We are waiting at the first checkpoint in case she needs to drop any dogs, then we will venture back to the cabin and stare at the trackers!
Her start!
And I see her tracker isn’t updating 😅 maybe I shouldn’t have said it was working….no worries! Keep the faith, Diva Fans!
Edit; this one cut it off…I reposted the full start!
It’s Race Week!!!
Today was an easy 20 with a mixture of race and non race dogs. It was definitely warm out there but loads of fun. Handler Dad assisted us and despite 3 crashes, 2 airborne moments, and lots of laughs - we had an excellent time!
Tomorrow the race team will run and we will begin to focus on getting race ready for Saturday.
Taking her little sis out on the trail last night!
We’ve been doing just a few short “shakeout” runs this week to help the dogs stretch out and recover. Last night, Eva’s sister, Maelle, went out with her to experience mushing in Alaska.
They sang songs, told stories, laughed, and Maelle said she only fell off once 😆
Huge thanks to Prairie Bilt Sleds for letting us borrow the two person sled for training up here in Alaska and providing this experience and memory that will last them a lifetime!
This is what it’s about. Happy dogs and happy kids!
Here is the video of her finish!
When you hear me say, “no, don’t run”, that was a joke as she was so close to getting last place (red lantern award) but we knew she was just wanting to finish.
Full recap coming later today. Just another huge thank you to the (Alaskan) Robinsons and Randalls for taking this race over and helping it continue. 💗
