She has on a rainbow bandana and red collar with white bones, but no tags or microchip.

Huge "Thank You" to the Nielsen-Marie Family.
They paid the adoption fees for Alabama and Poppy!

We got this Facebook message last week:
"Hi there! I am not able to adopt either of the two dogs that you have left, but could I sponsor their adoption fees for Christmas? Please let me know if so, and how I could best get the funds to you. Thanks so much!"

After both dogs were adopted we got this sweet message.
"I sat my little boys down and told them I planned on getting them one more Christmas present each, or, we could donate the money to the animal shelter and pay for two adorable puppies for other families, and explained how it worked. My boys are only 8 and 12. They both very excitedly agreed to donate the money. I’m so proud of them. And I am so so happy both pups got adopted so quickly! I hope they are happy in their new homes! Thank you again for the opportunity to be part of a little Christmas miracle for two other families! It meant a lot to me and my boys. We love our shelter!"

UPDATE: ALABAMA HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!

🎉We only have TWO adoptable dogs left. 🎉
We would love to get them both homes for Christmas!🎄🎄

This is Alabama! She is about a 6 month old Lab/Boxer/Shepherd Mix. She is still a baby but she does know some basic commands and learns very quickly. We've been working with her on potty training in her kennel and she has been doing pretty well. Alabama does good with other dogs and would love to have an older dog sibling at home. She is also fine with cats.
Alabama is vaccinated, microchipped and spayed.
Her adoption fee is $40.

If you'd like to meet Alabama for Christmas, we will be open Thursday, December 19th & Friday, December 20th this week from 10AM-5PM. Next week we will be open Monday 10AM-5PM and Tuesday 10:00AM-Noon.

This is Poppy! She's a 10 month old old female bulldog mix. Poppy knows her basic commands and seems to be potty trained. She loves to play but is also happy to cuddle with her favorite people. She does great with other dogs and has been fine with cats. She also loves squeaky toys!
Poppy is vaccinated and microchipped. Spay will be scheduled at the time of adoption.
Poppy’s adoption fee is $65.

If you'd like to meet Poppy for Christmas, we will be open Thursday, December 19th & Friday, December 20th this week from 10AM-5PM. Next week we will be open Monday 10AM-5PM and Tuesday 10:00AM-Noon.
