✨ Chrome is a grulla tobiano registered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. Chrome turned 7 years old this year. He stands at 15.1 and has a stocky, impressive quarter horse-type build. There is nothing dainty about this boy. Chrome’s combination of dun and tobiano markings makes him a unique and especially stunning boy.

Chrome is as versatile a gaited horse as you will find. His gait is smooth and easy. His canter is one of the best I’ve felt on a gaited horse, and he can pick up both leads seamlessly. He sidepasses, knows leg cues, neck reins, yields his forequarters and hindquarters on cue, and backs nicely. We have also taught Chrome to lie down on cue and to pick his rider up on cue.

He would be a phenomenal, gaited dressage prospect. We have had many visitors ride Chrome, and all have enjoyed him.

We have ridden Chrome in many different settings on the trail. He has been ridden extensively in the mountains and in the desert of southern Utah. I’ve always found him to be sure-footed and capable. He’s been impressive to ride in steep or technical terrain, and always gets the job done. Chrome has been highlighted, packed on, and he’s no stranger to overnight camping trips.

As far as personality goes, Chrome is a people-loving goober that loves attention. He always meets me at the gate, and I love that about him. He enjoys being doted on and is a pleasure to be around.

As far as breeding goes, Chrome has many well-loved bloodlines on his papers. Chrome is the son of a well-known grulla Fox Trotter stallion, Gone N Dun It. Chrome’s dam is a daughter of Chief’s Mighty Man D., who is also a well-known and loved stallion within the breed.

NO LONGER AVAILABLE - If you’ve been looking for a young horse with all of the right qualities and gaited the absolute best, Pal is your guy. You will drive the wheels off your car trying to find another like him… He’s good as they come in my opinion.

Pal is a 4 year old registered Missouri Fox Trotter gelding. Solid palomino with a snow white mane and tail. Definitely has the hair gene. He’s impeccably bred. He’s by a son of well known stallion Sunrise’s Masterpiece (son of Southern Sunrise) and out of an own daughter of Outlaw’s Patriot. Pal stands an honest 15.2. I think he’s done growing height wise, and he will continue to fill out.

Pal’s gait is second to none. He can do it all, flat foot walk, fox trot, and rack. If you ask him to, he can even cruise along in a gait as fast as 10-12mph, which is uncommon for a Fox Trotter. His preferred gait is a super smooth flat foot walk. He doesn’t have an uncomfortable gear and gaiting is as easy as breathing for him. He is not the least bit pacey, and is always consistent in his gait. You don’t need to do anything to get him to gait - he just does it. He also has a nice canter.

Pal was started early this year, and since then we have put many trail miles on him. He’s also been ridden in the arena. We’ve taught him to work off your legs under saddle. We’ve taken him on many tough trails and I’ve been so impressed with how well he does. He’s surefooted, tough, confident and does what’s asked of him. We’ve done overnight camping trips with him as well. Just got back from one over Memorial Day weekend in which we did 21 miles in 1 day. He did great.

As far as personality goes, Pal is loving and very people oriented. He likes to please and has the cutest personality. He is not a spooky horse by nature and is very curious.

I think he will make an ideal family horse as he continues to gain experience because he’s laid back, but also willing and capable enough to do just about any type of riding for any level of rider. At this time, I wouldn’t recommend him for a beginner (I’d say that about any horse that doesn’t have years under saddle) but he will be a horse that just about anyone can enjoy in short time in my opinion. He’s just that kind of horse. Hard not to love him.
