Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses (DDR) is a horse rescue organization located in Southern Utah. Our purpose is to take in abused, neglected and abandoned horses from around the state. Because we believe in the humane treatment of horses, as well as all other animals, we provide food, shelter, medical care, rehabilitation, adoption services, a permanent home when necessary, and lots of love an

d attention so that they may enjoy the dignified life they deserve. Dust Devil Ranch Sanctuary for Horses (DDR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization, and as such, we are supported through the generosity of private and corporate donations and sponsors. Our loving volunteers...

Dust Devil Ranch relies solely on volunteers who generously donate their time to feed, exercise, groom, and clean stalls, as well as facility maintenance, fundraising, public education and special events. Most importantly, DDR volunteers provide daily love and attention for all of the horses that have found sanctuary at the rescue.

So Meta just messaged we are in violation ( of what? Who knows…) and maybe deleted in 24 hours. Guess we will see, no one sees us anyway and it’s on par for how my last week has been. Im waiting for some heath related info, so im not compelled to worry about this. So if we are gone… we will miss you and love to YOU all! ~Ginger 🙋🏼‍♀️🩷🐴

If you received drawing tickets, an item (like an art purchase, as gift with donation, as a part of your donation.) or attended a class, there is no donation receipt.

If you sent checks or cash you will get a letter from me, via snail mail.

PayPal/Facebook/other:

If you donated through PayPal, Facebook or a donation company you have received a letter instantly at the time of donation, via your chosen EMAIL, check your “Junk” or “spam” folder if you can’t find. Facebook, does not share with me or anyone your info, I’m lucky to get a name, so you will have to go to them for a receipt.

By an officer, saying not properly trained on being a K-9 officer…. 🙄… it’s HOT IN JULY, you live here….. what’s to train??? No ANIMALS LEFT IN CARS or KIDS!! I hope he doesn’t kill a kid! Thankful!! For Joe Kertiss, Kim Goe, Howard Maize, Jennifer Alger, Mike… (anonymous) Jared Andersen and his Vet Office, Moble Doc~ Dr. Cayla Moore DVM… the Gang at Dr. Norton’s office for phone help! Even though Doc is gone. Joe has the little dog at the Vet, she just had a seizure! KiM is at the ranch with Mike and Dr. Moore with Calderon. I’m in Phoenix with my special needs grand dog magic. It must be a holiday weekend we got the trifecta…!?!? Prayers needed… its more than just a abscess, it’s fractures and suspensory ligaments. He’s just a mess in the back end.!! From years of a use in the show ring, not intentional, per se, just a product of an old horse with an athletic career. RIP -Calderon…

This is why the need for emergency funds… winter is coming and these horses are older. We can not afford heroics… and even just to try something for comfort is not an option. We have less than $1,000 and I think not even $500 in the bank at last look. Calderon is older, has had issues with hairline fractures In His hind coffin bones, for his USET life as a 3-day event horse, and Paralympic Dressage history. He’s just here to retire the best he can…. This maybe his last day. Vet coming at 3 pm, she thinks Abscess from video, but I think there is more going on here, as well as Cushings in his old age, he’s getting thicker curly hair this year. This visit will undoubtedly take us beyond our funds. Please consider Giving today! The annual pheasant murdering has begun yesterday DNR was out here dumping off all kinds of pheasants for these guys to come kill today and they are captive bread pheasants so they like humans…. Most of these people won’t even eat the birds, they either leave them behind or toss them in the dumpsters on their way out the road. DNR and the local police department has driven through a few times, so at least the hunters are staying off property for the most part. I feel bad for the birds, if it was hunting, It would be one thing. This is just killing birds. 😢
