Group was formed in 2011 to help develop a dog park in the Iron County area as well as support for all Iron County Shelters. We are developing a dog park in Enoch about 6200 N Minersville Road on 3 acres. We support all shelters with food, litter, medical expenses, spay, neuter and foster care when available. We offer low cost dog training including obedience, agility, flyball and many other dog s

ports. Membership is $30 per year and includes free re-takes of obedience classes for the year. Obedience classes are repeated every 2-3 months. This ALL VOLUNTEER group needs more volunteers. Please join us and let's have some fun.

More dogs go missing around the
4TH OF JULY than any other time of the year and noisy fireworks are usually the cause.

Having tags on your dog’s collar helps them to be returned to you immediately without the anxiety of going to our already full animal shelters.

Microchipping proves ownership and is also the best way to help your pet get Home Again should they lose their tag.

Low Cost Microchips will be available for $35 per pet which includes a lifetime registration with Home Again at an event at IFA on June 22, 2024. Discounts are available too (see flyer below).

You can get a tag, get your pet microchipped & their nails trimmed all at this one event.

Cats are welcome too!

Needing a new home. We were contacted to help spread the word.

JoJo is an 18 month old purebred Australian Shepherd, approximately 40 pounds, off lead and lead trained, knows many commands, very good call back.

He likes to hike, run, and mountain bike, he is not a roamed, he’s a Velcro dog, extremely agile and fit.

He’s good with dogs, cats and large livestock like cows, donkeys, and horses, however, he is not good with smaller livestock like goats, sheep, and fowl.

He is fully vaccinated and he is neutered.

Freestyle Dog Dancing April 2024
Gail Workman will be starting a new class for Freestyle, which is a modern dog sport that creates interaction between owners and their dogs. It is a combination of obedience training and tricks that is combined with music and can be choreographed into a dancing routine for owners and their dogs. This is a perfect and fun way to bond with your dog.
Gail will have music each week to help you choose maneuvers that will work for you and your dog so you can dance to your favorite music.
This class will be an 8 week course beginning Thursday, April 18, 2024 at 6 pm and will be one hour every week. Your dog will need to know basic commands.
Bring a copy of vaccination records to the first class.
The cost of this 8 week course is $130. Ask Gail about the discount if you are taking Amy Chrisman’s Dog Agility Class.
Location of Classes:

Amy Chrisman's The Dog House
149 S 5300 West, Cedar City, Utah

**Look for mile marker 56 off of Hwy 56.
Follow the road to the end and look for the red barn on your left.
Classes will be inside the barn.

I would like to thank everyone who donated. Enoch Animal Shelter has new beds for all the kennels and through the generosity of so many, we were able to send beds to Beaver County Animal Control Facility as well.
Cedar City Animal Adoption Center and Iron County Sheriff's Animal Shelter had already been supplied with new beds in one of our prior fundraisers.

01/11/2024

Iron County Sheriff's Animal Shelter needs our help. They are full and are in need of dog food. So the dogs do not have diarrhea, they need to stay on the same brand of food.

Cedar City IFA Country Store carries the dog food that the shelter needs. It is Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice. This donation can be even purchased over the phone and Brittany in the Cedar City IFA Country Store pet food department will deliver it to the shelter.

If you have questions, please contact Ray Rodriguez at the shelter at 435-867-7618 and he will call you back.
