Horse, dog, human liberty team won 1st place in the trick or talent class with the Youth Equine Liberty Organization . Yeah I know I'm not youth anymore, but thankfully they thought of a youth at heart age group 18-49 😉

New ribbon to arrive for my daughter Luna! This past week was the August liberty show with the youth equine liberty organization . Luna did her first, all by herself, mini freestyle, and won 2nd place in age group 12 or younger. Time limit was 90 seconds to show some tricks and/or talent. Check it out, she's adorable!! 🥰🤠🐴

We received our medals and t-shirts from the virtual Tevis cup ride! Pretty cool! 🤠

And we did it! 100 miles in 62 days Tevis Cup Virtual Ride! The last 10 miles we rode ba****ck and on a loose rein working towards our bridleless! Zahra has made a lot of progress during those 100 miles. Proud of her! 🤠🐴

My daughter Luna (6) finished the 100 miles Tevis Cup Virtual Ride today at 60 days, ending the last couple of miles ba****ck. We are so incredibly proud of her! She's got so much will, drive and determination!

As I am sitting here reflecting on our Educational Intro to LIBERTY DEMO,
I am blown away by how much interest there was, by how many people came out to see us while battling the heat, by all the incredibly positive feedback!!! This meant so much to me!

Liberty is the state of being free, it is allowing the horse to make choices and to choose us without force. Liberty horsemanship has a vibrant present and a bright future, and I am beyond blessed to do a small part in inspiring people and showing you what partnership IS POSSIBLE! I want to thank everyone that came that day!
Thank you Patty and Lee Hoofs and Paws Cedar Creek Tx for hosting us and providing a top notch facility! They both went above and beyond, poored their heart and soul into this, and made us feel welcome and special!

Day 1 of completed. We hand walked, bunch of rain yesterday. It was great bonding time, walking through puddles, lot's of backing, meeting donkeys and other horses.

So, I've decided to participate in the virtual Tevis Cup with Zahra, six year old straight Egyptian Arabian.
Several reasons:
1. It's for a great cause. Entry fee helps support the Western States Trail Foundation (aka Tevis Cup)
2. Having a goal is motivation
3. Setting goals and entering for this event, holds you accountable

The past three years I've learned as much as I could about liberty! Various trainers, different methods. To me, there's nothing more beautiful than connecting with a horse at liberty! I cannot put in words how proud I am, of Bella and my accomplishments so far! My biggest dream as a child (which I thought was a dream that could never come true) was riding a horse without a saddle and bridle! Did I think three years ago I would be living my DREAM? NO, but I AM!!
I'm still thirsting for more knowledge, I want to refine my cues, refine my bridless riding!

With this demo I want to inspire YOU, that YOU CAN learn being with your horse at liberty!

So, so proud of the competitor pin gift I received from the International Liberty Horse Association! They sure know how to make you feel good and how to motivate you. To keep going, keep trying, keep growing. They see the hard work behind the beautiful freestyle! They can picture you sitting in the dirt crying, wanting to give up at times. Why is liberty so hard, but so beautiful? Because there's no strings attached. It's a relationship built on trust. To build and earn trust takes time. Time means patience. Patience isn't always easy.
Thank you ILHA for appreciating your members, for promoting the sport of liberty, and for making us feel special! 💖🐴
