Katie got a bath and a makeover. This girl has been reminding me to grab bands so we could braid Katie’s hair. I finally remembered them.

Lessons aren’t just about riding, you need to learn about horse care, nutrition and how much times goes into having them.

Plus hot days are great for bath 😊

With this heat make sure to bring lots of water and sunscreen!

Also I am off of lessons from July 15-19, I do have spots on Saturday July 20 but will be gone on Sunday July 21.

We have Buchanan county fair this week so I get to love on all the animals we don’t have.

Merry Christmas! I hope everyone gets to spend time with their family’s. Incase anyone was wondering the horses got treats from Santa, so I guess he thought they were good this year. 🎁🎄❤️

Hello!

Winter is slowly making its way to us. Just a reminder as the temps drop we will ride in feel like weather of 30 degrees or higher. Lower then that it is to cold for us and the horses. Please bring gloves, foot and hand warmers and lots of layers. Snow pants/bibs are allowed. Hats can’t not be worn under the helmet but helmets hold more heat then you would think!

Also please remember saftey is my number one concern, if you feel travel is not safe or you know 30 is to cold we can reschedule. I enjoy seeing everyone’s faces but not if it’s dangerous out 😊

🎃Orange pumpkins and their seeds are safe for horses to eat, according to the Michigan State University Extension. But there are a few dos and don’ts owners should know before indulging.👇🏼

📍Do not feed pumpkins to horses that haven’t been thoroughly inspected. For example, sometimes gourds will start to rot from the inside, and it’s not visible without cutting into the pumpkin. If the gourd has any soft spots, you should avoid. This feels like common sense, but you shouldn’t feed any part of the stalk to a horse, either. It can be a choking hazard. But seeds are OK.✅

And it goes without saying, but don’t feed a painted or decorated pumpkin to a horse.

The best way to feed pumpkin to horses is in small pieces and one slice at a time. Less is always better than more – so just a few pieces a day is acceptable. 🧡

Good day on this cold and maybe snowy day!!

I wanted to just let everyone know that I will need everyone to resign some paperwork as my insurance had me update some parts.

As you come out for lessons I will either send it with you to get signatures, as I now need both parent/guardians signatures, or have you sign at the barn.

It’s a more detailed release form.

Please reach out with any questions.
