As cats tend to be more sensitive with their teeth than dogs, careful attention is a must for your cats' teeth. Starting to care for their teeth while they're young preferable but it's never too late to start! Using cat dental wipes that are enzymatic alongside treats will make their teeth clean. We provide this simple service along with nail trimming and other grooming appointments, but starting this at home will go a long way in improving the dental health of your cat at home!

This weeks' #transformationtuesday is twice as fun! Our Lani Spaw Groomer Allie has some educational tips for Puppy Grooming, and we get to see what that looks like with our friend Zoe! Zoe received our Deluxe Groom Package.
✨ Grooming is an essential aspect of caring for a puppy, contributing to their overall health and well-being. Regular grooming keeps a puppy looking clean but also plays a crucial role in preventing a number of health issues. Understanding grooming schedules, training, and essential grooming tips can help pet owners ensure their puppies grow up happy and healthy.
✨A grooming schedule helps you keep your puppy on track! We recommend scheduling your puppy’s first groom around 12-16weeks of age, once they have had their Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccines. It’s a good idea to schedule more appointments throughout the first year to give your puppy a good amount of exposure to grooming (scheduling every 4 weeks).
✨ Introducing grooming practices early in a puppy's life can help them become accustomed to the process, making it a positive experience. Gradual exposure to grooming tools and environments, combined with positive reinforcement, can ease a puppy's anxiety and foster cooperation. Parents are welcome (and encouraged) to bring their puppy’s favorite treats to grooming services.
✨There are a number of steps you can take at home to ensure your puppy has a great time at the groomers. Regularly brushing and combing increases their exposure to tools. Touching their feet, face, mouth, and ears also increases exposure and makes them more comfortable around the groomer and their tools. Our last tip is a reminder to keep a consistent grooming schedule for your pups, a schedule of at least 4 weeks apart, but no more than 6 weeks for the puppy’s first year starting at around 12-16 weeks of age.
