In their world, your words are a source of comfort and assurance, reinforcing the bond you share. Your dog can’t tell you they love you, but their response to you verbally showing your love will definitely let you know.

Still No Updates on Pedro ☹️

It’s been odd that we haven’t heard much about him lately. We know many of you are eager to help, but the Retrievers have asked that we pause the search efforts for now. They’ve requested that the public just keep an eye out for him without actively searching, to avoid adding any more stress or fear to Pedro.

We’ll continue posting and hanging flyers as we wait for more news. Your support means the world to us, and we appreciate everyone who’s been helping. Please keep your eyes peeled, and let’s stay hopeful. 🙏💛

Update on Pedro.

There was a report of a sighting last night at 10:45pm! 🙏

We were contacted by The Retrievers that the owner has been working with. They said it's better not to have people out actively looking for him because everyone, including Mom, could be scary to him at this point. They said to just keep our eyes peeled for any sign of him.

I know there are concerns about us not doing enough to find Pedro, but I want to reassure you all that we are actively working to bring him home. Over the weekend, our staff, their families, and clients were out searching for him. Our technician was with the owner on Friday night and started again on Saturday morning with her. Yesterday, we took 50 flyers out to surrounding neighborhoods to spread the word.

We're doing everything we can to find Pedro and bring him back safely.

We are heartbroken over this, and our hearts are with the owner during this incredibly tough time. Thank you to everyone who's been helping and keeping an eye out. Let's stay hopeful!

Morning.

Here is a update on Pedro. We still haven't had any sightings of him. We are asking the public to look around your homes under porches, sheds, out buildings, window wells, bushes, etc.

This little guy and is brown and tan so he will blend in very well. When he escaped he did have his harness on which is blue and black. He did have a slip lead on that is blue and white.

Our staff has been looking around the area that he was last seen on Richard Drive in Cedar Falls.

If you do see him, don't approach him, please contact Melissa to come out and she can try to grab him. Little dogs tend to be skittish.

Thank you to everyone who has been helping and sharing our posts. The last post we shared was seen by 45,000 people. So this is reaching people and getting the word out. We appreciate it so much!

Our staff has been out looking for Pedro this morning and so far there hasn't been any sightings since last night by Richard Dr in Cedar Falls. If anyone lives between Union Rd and Hudson Rd and have out door buildings please take a look and see if he wondered into there to be warm. We are trying everything we can to find this little guy. We're completely heartbroken that this has happened.

Please let us know of any sightings so we can send people there to search. Thank you!
