Weeks after tragedy struck, our girls are just starting to lay again 🥰
We had an unidentified culprit break into our coup...
Lost 15 birds, including all our Easter layers 😫
It was an ugly massacre 😱and the worst part?
Our daughter discovered the mess first.
Her blood-curdling scream alerted the other 3 to come witness the tragedy. 🤦♀️
I’m all about learning the circle of life, but this lesson didn’t seem necessary.
😳 We’re still reeling from sleepless nights and nightmares
The worst part?
The culprit is still on the loose!! 😑
But time heals all wounds,
And all of us are slowly recovering.
Life on a farm is never easy.
But it’s worth it 💛
