Amy has been teaching riding lessons, coaching students, starting colts, showing and training horses for over 25 years. Giving colts a solid start and laying a strong foundation that lasts ,, for beginner riders also with an emphasis on correct horsemanship, safety, and having fun. Amy has trained multiple world champions and coached their riders to success.

Baby Sky is back for awhile,, so I can safely change her bandages and doctor her wounds. Sky was here in the spring for baby training and her first trailer ride was the day I picked her up. It took us a solid hour and 15 minutes to get her loaded. Today she loaded right into my borrowed trailer with only hesitating to sniff it briefly. So so proud!!

Justin and I competed in an online show last month, and Justin and Dodger placed 1st in youth trail wt, first in youth ranch riding wt and 3rd in open ranch reining wt.
Amy and Comet placed 4th in ranch reining wt and 3rd in ranch riding wt.

We set up the noodle walk through today specifically for the first horse,, and ended up leaving it up all day. Every rider got to work on going thru it and had a great time! I’m thinking we should incorporate a trust building obstacle into all of our lessons for awhile!

Mia and Honey have been making some great improvements in practice and are ready for their first barrel race tomorrow, after 9 months of stall rest and then months of rehab. So excited for them!! Plus the awesome sunset after the thunderstorm 💜

Had a blast at the Morgan Grand National Show with Comet! We placed second in the green class with a 61.5 , got zeros in both our Open classes, and scored a 61 to win Reserve World Champion in the Freestyle.

Comet’s super excellent lead change at his first reining show. I am so so proud of him!

Little Bit is a race bred thoroughbred, headed to the track this race season. I got her started under saddle and now we’re getting her in condition.

Baby Bacardi. 18 months old. Loads like a pro!!

Super super proud of this hard working team!!!! Mia has been playdaying on her mare April for the last few years and ran a consistent 24, with their fastest time ever being a 22. They’ve been coming for lessons a few times a week for the last few months and we’ve started a consistent streak of 18’s!!!! They’ve put in the work, Mia listens and improves with every ride,, and April responds to her so well. Great job yesterday!!!!
