Just a reminder that tonight is the "Tail of Lights" at the park. It starts at 6:30 and goes to 8:30. They said that part of the park will be open for use as well. Last year they had lights up along the fences.

On Friday afternoon (11/24/2023) the dog in the middle with the guy standing with the dog, bit a boy, not seriously, but enough to draw blood. The mom wants rabies vaccine documentation so he doesn't need to get painful shots. The owner gave her a fake number. He was with two ladies, I think it's them in the first picture? If you know them please help to get the information needed.

Howdy y’all! We will be at Cedar Bark Park today from 10am-5pm. It might be a little chilly to us but this is perfect running and play weather for most doggos so we hope to see you there!

We will be at 2 different dog parks today! 🤩 One of our mobile pet spaws will be at Cedar Bark Park from 9-4pm and our other mobile pet spaw will be at West Austin Dog Park from 10:30-5pm.

I found this rechargeable hearing aid in the dirt in the middle section. It was right beside the first rock ring as you come in. It will be in the lost and found beside the main walk into the park.

The SPCA is having a BARKTOBERFEST which will be held on 10/21/23 at Veteran’s Memorial Park in Cedar Park!

Re-homing my 5 month old bully mix, Ajax the Ripper (Ripper). He’s very well-trained (basic commands, house trained, and crate trained) and well-socialized, but he isn’t getting along with my cats who were here before him. After many tries with training, treats, and even frequent trips to the dog park, it’s not working out between him and the cats. He’ll make a wonderful addition to a family with at least one other dog and no cats. Message me if you think your family may be a good fit. I have tons of supplies, treats, and food for him that I’m happy to provide a potential adopter.

Ripper is up to date on all vaccinations, and I can provide a full vet history.

Some of us are already aware of this problem from being a victim, but we have one or more thieves that come to the park, mostly on the weekends. Today, someone took a washing kit for their dog, including sandals. Not likely for it to be a mistake. In the last twelve years. I know of several dozen leashes that have been taken during the last 12 years as well, including 3 of my own. I had hoped that it had ended after an older gentleman was caught talking leashes twice. Leashes being taken started again a couple of months ago. If you bring something to the park on weekends, you might mark it with a name so that maybe it will possibly make the person think twice.

There was a bad situation that occurred yesterday. On one of the big dog sections, a German Shepherd came over to a small dog and attacked it. The small dog died today from its injuries. Even though small dogs are allowed on the big sections at owners risk, that kind of aggression is not allowed in the park. The rules are posted on the entrance gate area. All dog owners are responsible for any damages caused by their dog is also not only ethical, but it is another rule. The unknown does occur on occasion at the park, so keeping an eye on your dog is very important. Watching out for others and their situation can make a big difference on how yours or someone's day ends.

The dog park is open, but that parking lot in front of the park is gated off right now as our tree contractor works to load up those debris piles they made from clearing the trees. He wanted to avoid any damage to cars as he maneuvered heavy equipment.
