Did you know AKC has titles you can earn with your dogs! They don’t even have to be purebred to get them. The CGC (canine good citizen) is a great goal for dog owners and then there are more advanced titles or trick titles and even fitness titles for you and your dogs to reach for.
Today my personal dog kyber passed his CGC Advance and CGC urban while we visited the pet expo. It is a great feeling to reach these accomplishments! Reach out to us at dog mom LLC for training for the CGC or if you are ready to take the test.

Meet Katana, an adorable Doberman puppy! 🐾 katana and her family are learning how to communicate with each other to create a harmonious, happy household. This little girl has already made great strides in her training, learning not only the basics of training but behaviors like not jumping on people, appropriately interacting with children, and learning to settle!

Labor Day weekend is here, Do you need a good idea to keep your pets minds working? Here is a fun recipe and a couple fun game for your pets to play.

Recipe
1/2 scoop dogs normal food (can soak in some warm water for extra hydration)
1/4 cup pumkin purée
Small handful blueberries
1/4 cup plain yogurt

This is a healthy recipe that has antioxidants, and fiber. This can make 2 large topples or kongs. Freeze for 2+ hours and then give to your pup

Here is a great games for mental exercise.

1. Put your pups food in a box and cover with clean water bottles and cans
2. Play tear it up. Let your pup tear up a cardboard box or cereal box. This is a great decompression strategy for high energy breeds!
3. Take a TikTok walk! Put your pups on a longline and let the wander and smell. Doing this is your dogs social media ♥️

We are currently enduring a sweltering heat wave! Remember, in heat like this it won't take long for temperatures inside your car to rise. If it's 90 outside the inside of your car can reach 119 in just 20 minutes. - Hannah
