Red tabby and white FEMALE!!!
This gal is CHESTER’S momma! We have decided to keep Chester here with us, so we had his mother spayed and she will be available for adoption!
She is easy going and has a calm demeanor. Many red tabby females are spicy, but this gal isn’t like the typical red. She is a buddy once you get to know her. She has a soft voice and gets along with other cats well. She would fit in almost any home! Kids, cats and dogs are ok. Ready to leave at anytime, she has recovered from her spay and has healed well! But, we have just discovered recently, an unexpected, an exciting development regarding Chester!
He is ODD EYED!!! He has a left blue eye and a right golden eye! When we discovered this was possibly what was going on, we took a photo test, which is when we take a photo really close to their face with a flash. Blue eyes, always reflect back with pink in the pupil area and his has pink in his left eye!
It runs in his family, his great-grandmother had odd eyes, but we just did NOT expect this!
How fun!!!!

Want to know what it’s like being a breeder?
It really sucks sometimes…
Meet Chester, he is a red tabby/white dude who is just struggling overall.
His mom rejected him at 3 weeks old because she has no more milk. One kitten in a litter often causes this because the mom isn’t stimulated enough when nursing to keep a milk supply.
So, at 3 weeks old, Chester is the size of a 2 week old kitten and he needs 24 hour care. He needs milk fed to him every three hours or so, and he needs help with going potty, as his ability to do that himself hasn’t developed enough. That means we have sleepless nights taking care of his needs.
On top of that, he is lonely and desires a mothers love, but only has humans to feed and cuddle him. He cries often, and looks for warmth, but only has our chest, or a hot water bottle to simulate a mother.
He drinks the milk, but he fights it, because he would prefer to be eating from a mother cat’s ni**le.
We have no other cats right now with similar age kittens for him to join, and have the camaraderie of a family of his own kind.
This is such a labor of love and we know he will be ok in the long run, but right now, things are hard, it is a struggle.
These are the sad moments we must endure that no breeder talks about. This is the part that breaks our hearts and makes for sleepless nights for us.
Chester is not available at this time, but maybe someday in the future? It’s all touch and go while we navigate the hard parts with him.
Please send a prayer, or some good vibes for this little guy. He is a cute little bundle of love that needs all the good energy he can get ❤️❤️
