Want to make a huge impact as a volunteer and don't mind getting messy?!? We need dog kennel cleaners during the week. We have had a volunteer graciously clean kennels 4 days a week but she is ready to step back to 1 day a week. Regular commitments (ex: every Wednesday) are appreciated but not required. Availability is updated on VicNet. Training is required for your first time. Please email mallory.dudley@cvhumane if interested and need to set up training.

Don't Blame Me for this post-

First of all, thank you to all who commented your well wishes on our last post! It's been a Cruel Summer, but we're back in business today and ready to Shake it Off. Never in our Wildest Dreams did we think we'd have to close for a couple days!

So there's no Bad Blood, we'd like to extend our Fall in Love Cat Adoption special thru Wednesday this week! Edna (pictured below with Travis) would be Enchanted to meet you if you're out and about and want to stop in! We're open 12-5pm.

Happy News!

We had someone reach out to us about replacing our worn down, chewed up, YEARS old Kuranda beds in our dog kennels and they have arrived! We want to send a BIG thank you to Brian, Melanie and Eli for putting all 20 beds together in under two hours! No doubt our dogs will love these new beds (they are made with aluminum parts now instead of regular PVC, more durable!) and we are SO grateful for this donor, who would like to remain anonymous, for giving our pups a more comfy experience here at CVHS 🐾💕🐶

Blanca deserves more than a day for this celebration, we have great news! After being at CVHS for almost 8 months, Blanca has found a forever home 🥳🥳 💕💕 We are SO happy for her and wish her and her new family the best- may they have SO many wonderful memories to last a lifetime together 🐶🐾
