Great River is pleased to announce Brad Kinsinger will be assuming a new role as Show Manager this year. Brad has a wealth of horse show experience as an announcer and ringmaster at many shows throughout the country. We look forward to Brad bringing his expertise and friendly ways to his new role. Happy 2023!!! We are pleased to announce Maria Gilman will be judging this year's show. Also, dates are May 19-21, the weekend after Mother's Day and FASH. Show bills will be available online in February and hard copies will be mailed in March. We look forward to seeing everyone in Cedar Rapids in May. What a great show!! Thank you thank you thank you to everyone involved. Our great staff and volunteers who make all of this possible and keep things running smoothly year after year. But it really wouldn't happen without our loyal exhibitors and trainers. Some have been with us since the beginning almost 50 years ago but it was also great to see SO many new barns and faces this year. Thanks to all of you for coming to Cedar Rapids and sharing your amazing horses and ponies with us. We look forward to everyone returning in 2023! Dates are May 19-21, 2023.

Wasn't it great being back in Cedar Rapids!! Our deepest gratitude to the many loyal trainers, owners and exhibitors who continue to support Great River Benefit Horse Show. And a huge Thank You to the exceptional officials in our center ring, the tireless work of our show secretaries, Kirkwood's helpful staff, and the many volunteers who just show up and man the gates, hand out ribbons, pour the coffee, decorate center ring, deliver hay, run to Hy-Vee, run to Tractor Supply, etc. etc. and do so without any questions or complaints. Our sincere thanks! Well done! See you in 2022 (May 13-15).

Here are some great updates for this years show!!
1) Ranch Classes!! Class 30 (b) - ASB Ranch Rail Pleasure. Class 79 (a) ASB Ranch Obstacle.
1) Hunt Seat Academy Classes. Walk/Trot/Canter qualifier and championship. These will be the first two classes (39.a and 39.b) on Saturday Morning.
2) Single Bit Open Breed Pleasure Division - Walk/Trot/Canter qualifier and championship (Classes 30.a and 88.a).
3) Amateur Road Pony Championship (Class # and placement TBD)
4) We have a few stalls in the main barn remaining. If you haven't sent in your entries or reserved stalls please do so asap.
