It was the golden day of ZenPaws!

For those wondering, golden retrievers do come in all shapes and sizes, with different coat types. Each of these dogs took a different amount of time, so each dog is priced differently. (When we get a request for a quote, sometimes people wonder why we need more information or pictures. This kind of shows why!)

Good golly Miss Molly!
It was so nice to finally meet Molly in person. She probably has never been in a grooming shop before, possibly never had a bath and blow dry, was confused by having to be in a crate, and this was definitely her first time on a grooming table. But look at how sweet she is!

Stan and Opal were very excited that their family was having a party for them. (They are the bestest dogs and obviously deserve a party)
It’s probably just a coincidence that one of the humans in their family is graduating from Homestead High School. (Congratulations!)

Nobody is quite sure how old Red is … but he has lived a long time!
Nobody is quite sure how he lost his eye … but he did can navigate the world just fine.
And he’s got some stories about living with drug dealers and counterfeiters and having his house shot at … and basically is one impressive dog!

Happy Friday! As we get further into spring, shedding can become a real problem for a lot of dog owners. Zoe was brought into us for the first time today, and boy did she have a lot of loose hair in her coat! After a nice bath and brushout, her family should have a lot less shedding to deal with. (Not pictured is Zoes brother who was not in the mood to pose LOL)

We know that cats occasionally need grooming too! Franchasca is only comes in every couple months, so it's always a special occasion! We thought it was a great opportunity to model what a lion cut looks like. As it gets warmer, it can feel nice to have all her long, fluffy hair taken down pretty short. (We promise she only looks mad, we're sure it feels really nice!)

It’s true … whether you want a lion mane on your doodle, short ears on your standard poodle or a shave down on your sh*tzu, don’t be afraid to ask for what you want. You look at your dog more than we do, and we want you to be happy with what you see!

This week’s appreciation post goes out to Nora and Hazel! These sisters are some of the nicest and sweetest dogs we have here at the shop. Not to mention how relaxed they are while they're here, when they're not being worked on they’re just napping in their crate. The true embodiment of Zen!

It was our pleasure to meet Cedarburg K9 Nitro and have him in the shop! For a first timer, he did great! Can’t wait to have him come in again!

Nitro got a much needed bath today. He was a little nervous at first but eventually came around. Thank you to our friends at ZenPaws PetGrooming for taking good care of our bestest boy.

Happy Wednesday! We’re celebrating getting halfway through the week with everyone’s favorite pup, Bruno! He’s been coming to us since he was about 4 months old 🥹 Now his tail starts wagging as soon as he walks in the doors here at ZenPaws! 🐾❤️
