Hello! My name is Kayla Cottrell.
I have over 13 years of experience grooming dogs and 8 grooming cats. Having started at a large corporate company in Georgia, making my way to a boutique in Florida for a few years and then back to Georgia at a vets office for 5. I’m very comfortable grooming any breed, size, and temperament that is thrown my way.
Bark & Boujee offers full grooming services tailored to the needs of your fur babies! From nail trims and flea baths, to blow outs and head to tail grooming. No service is too big or small.
I’m located in Cedartown, Georgia and also offer in-home mobile grooming. (With stipulations)

Mr. Laddie, the farm dog, came in a hot mess today. All matted up with stuck undercoat and sticky burrs from the grass. We thought we were going to have to shave him down. But I couldn’t let that happen to this beautiful coated boy. 3 1/2 hours of blowing out, conditioning and brushing. This perfect boy left feeling lighter, fresh and tangle free.
He’s now on an 8 week schedule with us 🥰
*Not every matted coat can be saved. Be sure to brush your dogs at least once every other day with a slicker brush and metal tooth comb.*

I started grooming him a few months ago and today was my second visit. The first picture of him is before I was his groomer and today is our 2nd cut transitioning to his Bichon roots.
He’s the best boy and so much fun to groom 🥰

This sweet boy came in to get groomed yesterday, a little over due but nothing we couldn’t take care of 🥰
Just wanted to take a second to educate the pet parents on here about matted ears. When the matting gets really tight around the edges of the ears, it can cut off circulation and become painful. When we shave the mats off, the blood will rush back to the edges of the ears and the dogs will shake their heads. This sometimes causes hematomas (swelling) and the ears to bleed.
**This dogs ears were not cut, the owner was notified and he is completely fine now.**
This post is in no way meant to bash any owner whatsoever, but to educate for those that don’t know this can happen. Don’t ever be ashamed bringing your dog in to me. Whatever condition they’re in, I’ll get them taken care of. Bringing them to get groomed is the first step of making them feel better 🥰
