We are an animal casting, animal talent, animal wrangling, animal wranglers and animal trainers company. The mission of STAR K9, LLC is to train and provide animal talent and professional wranglers for the entertainment industry while embracing the highest level of care and respect for the animals. We also employ our high standards, personal service and expertise to ensure positive results for our

client’s projects, on time and on budget. STAR K9, LLC has over 22 years of training, handling and wrangling animals in basic and advanced level skills. We are conveniently located within the Atlanta Metro Area where our animals enjoy the luxury of a 40 acre ranch. Our staff is well acquainted with the business and we do our best to ensure that the animal talent and wranglers understand and prepare for their roles to ensure your project has the best possible outcome. We adamantly support the humane treatment of all animals we represent. We promote the natural instincts and personality of each animal while providing respect and positive, naturally balanced concepts. We also observe the SAG and American Humane Society Guidelines as well as Animal Welfare Approved Certification. All animals must pass health and temperament requirements as well as pass a strict audition process that requires the animal to follow commands off leash in distracting situations and unfamiliar settings. Our handlers must also pass extensive requirements involving animal behavior and training, and conducting themselves with the highest degree of professionalism toward the animal talent, our clients and associates.

Actions include cat or kitten eating food products, being petted by actors, posing and natural behaviors. Cat and kitten will not be interacting with other animals, only people or alone. Will involve studio and home environments. Cat/kitten should have high food drive as they will be eating cat food products. SEEKING WORKING DOG: This is NOT a casting call for production. This is Trace, owner of STAR K9. I have been involved with search, rescue and recovery (missing persons) with my personal dogs for over 25 years. I'm now looking for a new dog before my German Shepherd retires (he is 11 years old and still doing great). Breeds I'm interested in is German Shepherd, Belgian Malonis and Border Collie, or working dog mix. Ideally, I would like to train the dog for search, rescue and recovery work as well as herding (occasionally for my goats on my farm). Must have rock solid temperament, strong nerves and high drives.
