Deer season has come to a close in most parts of Texas and Oklahoma. But now its predator season.
Wanted to post a few tips. If you want to do anything with the animals you shoot please take care of them. Keep them cold and clean of blood if possible. Keep them on ice. And the big question…… do i gut them? NO. Do not. If you cant get it to me within 24 hours then freeze it. The guts as we all know can ruin an animal faster. These animals are all beautiful whether or not you do anything with them. They have beautiful hair this time of year. Dont waste the bobcat and foxes. Even beavers. Do something with them. Good luck predator hunting! It needs to be done.

Attention all hunters!!! Spend more time in the woods this winter now that the season is coming down to a close. Not sure how many of yall have coyote problems. I know we do!

For those who question whether or not coyotes can affect deer numbers check this out.
Coyotes are responsible for 10–20% of fawn deaths on average, according to studies in the Midwest and Northeast. In the southeastern United States, coyotes account for 37–80% of fawn deaths.
Impact on Fawn Recruitment
In areas with high coyote populations, the fawn recruitment rate is closer to 0.4 fawns per doe, compared to the average of 1 fawn per doe in other areas.
Fawn Mortality:
In one study, 66% of fawn deaths by coyotes occurred in the first three weeks of life.

CLOSED!
We are taking today (Thanksgiving) and tomorrow (Friday) to go hunting. We wont have phone service. Will check my messages. Keep your animal cold or freeze it. Do not gut the predators. Use mu pictures to help caping. Make plans to meet me anytime on Sunday for drop offs or next week. Good luck to everyone and enjoy your time in the woods away from work!!!!

Please remember to use this when caping a deer for a shoulder mount! Call us with any questions. Celebrate with a beer after you are done not before! This will save you money and me time!
Keep it cold and try to keep it out of the water as it will cause bacteria. Get to me asap if you can’t freeze!
