How old is that buck?

Richard with his dog Hoss. Hoss is either eight years old or soon to be. Richard continues to tell me that Hoss is his pheasant dog. Which he is but he does pretty good on quail too. Starting to get gray in the muzzle but he still loves to play the game. Has a nice point and natural retrieve. As for personality, I think he could get along with Satan! A true lab!

Rocky's first for real hunt. Putting together birds and gun fire. He showed his great genetics as well as an awesome nose for bird finding. His enthusiasm put a smile on my face as well. In the picture with Rocky is my friend Richard. Richard does the shooting for me so I can focus on the handling and training. He's also a really good shot!! A big step in the process for Rocky. Rocky isn't to sure about sitting on the tailgate of the truck.

Never a dull moment!! Growing and full of mischief! Personalities are really coming out. Gonna be some beautiful pups here. Two males remain for a forever home.

Curt, Hank did awesome today. He had five points and we got five birds!!
This pup (Hank) is an eight month old pup that was purchased last summer. The fellow who purchased this pup stated that he had never owned a pointing dog, especially a lab. The pup showed a lot of pointing instincts early on. Looks like things are working out.

My good friend Dave guided a hunt last weekend with his two R.K. pups. Nice to see he's enjoying them to their fullest. Thanks for sharing your pic Dave.

Puppies are now five weeks old and getting a personality. Very inquisitive and getting into everything!! It's amazing how much they change on a daily basis. The constant is that loving lab personality.

Making Sunny proud, two pups from her last litter. Received these two photos today. Pups are eight months old and being exposed to birds! One pup lives in Southern Ohio. The other is in Arkansas. Looks promising and things will only get better. I still have folks tell me that Labs don't point. To that I say, ignorance is bliss!

My friend Scott with his pup Hank. Actually working on his retrieving as this was his first shot birds. He did an outstanding job! Not to mention, he's an outstanding pointing dog too. Scott had a smile from ear to ear. I think he was happy as well. Should be many good years ahead for the two of them.

Well, may have lost a couple of my duck hunting buddies. They took the plunge and bought a lab pup from me this spring. They told me they needed a duck dog. Today they took her to a hunting preserve. This was her first hunt. I got these two pictures and the tales have already started!! She's a natural, boy is this fun. She's not only a natural but she has that great lab personality.These dogs can and do, do it all!!
