Here’s a summary of the 2024 numbers and the types of mares that were bred.

He bred 161 mares, they range from daughters of Dash Ta Fame, Tres Seis, Goodbye lane’s, Frenchmans Guys, High Brow Cats, NFR producers, numerous great race mares and last but not least several excellent Thoroughbred mares, including a mare who (according to the daily racing form, Bloodhorse etc) has the fastest Thoroughbred 2 year old in the nation. We appreciate everyone who has supported him!

Now for an overview of his first 2 year olds being broke… from the early reports they ALL are extremely athletic and crave to turn!

We already have a nice book started for 2025 and are looking forward to the future.

‼️CHASIN MISTY‼️- 2024 numbers- 156 mares bred and booked.

We didn’t give the breedings away (unless it was for someone in need)

150 is the number we were aiming for and by charging stud fees (no hidden fees) it’ll insure quality mares and also helps insure the foals will be taken care of, because the mare owner is invested.

These numbers should result in 120 or so registered foals. That’ll keep the value up but also not flood the market.

The right number with the better mares and awesome owners = a great stallion.

Please read entire post‼️This year CHASIN MISTY has bred mares from 28 states and Canada‼️ We appreciate everyone who breeds to him!!

We’re not going to say he is booked full but he has bred enough mares. The truth is he is extremely fertile and you can’t overbook him.

With that being said we still take a few nice quality mares, as always.

Booked full is (usually) something people claim when they breed between zero and 30 mares because of circumstances, Riding the horse, frozen semen only blah blah. Breeding season is close to over etc. I’m not saying that’s the case with all horses but about 90 percent of them.

Chasin Misty has bred over 120 and is no where close to being booked full, we’re just trying to accommodate people who understand the breeding business and try to raise quality horses.

We want to do good business and make customers happy period!

This was not meant to be offensive at all, it was more of and explanation type post.

Now booking mares for 2025. You’ll be breeding behind a well placed crop of foals out some of the better mares in the country. It will make your foals very marketable.
