Smokey the dog was rescued from a fire last year where the owner had chained him to a tree, causing severe third degree burns all over his body. Firefighters found the dog, cut the chain and rushed him to a local animal hospital.

The beautiful Larimer Humane Society is a perfect example how Snyder teams up with leading architects to bring their creativity and innovation to fruition!

Congratulations to the team at the Larimer Humane Society on the completion of their brand new facility a few months ago! The 39,000 square-foot animal shelter was a dream 10 years in the making for the communities in and around Loveland, Colorado and increases their capacity three-fold. The new building is filled with abundant natural light and considers a variety of different species with separated spaces. It also features distinct intake and adoption areas, private rooms for end-of-life decisions, a veterinary clinic four times the size of the old shelter with updated amenities, dental and surgery suites, recovery and treatment areas, and plenty of indoor-outdoor spaces for both cats and dogs. There are also several unique indoor-outdoor pavilion areas, a spacious dog park that is open to the public, and a large barn area built for the more interesting animals that come into the shelter (including pigs, roosters and turtles just to name a few!).

We love to see our products being put into action and help with disaster recovery! These custom designed Cat Cottages were recently installed at Seattle Animal Shelter's beautiful new facility. They feature compartment venting and tempered glass doors with ventilation holes and our Velvet Touch latches.

Construction of the new Larimer Humane Society building, which is four times the size of the existing shelter and rented office space, will be complete by the end of the summer.
