Aurora Cat Hospital and Hotel will be pawsing operations for the Thanksgiving holiday from Thursday, November 27th through Monday, December 1st.

We will pounce back into action on Tuesday, December 2nd during our normal business hours.

If your kitty will need food or medication refills during our break, please let us know soon so we can help before we close. We don’t want anyone feeling claw-ful over the holiday!

Boarding services will continue as scheduled during this closure.

Thank you for letting us care for your purr-fect companions. We hope you and your furry family have a wonderful and whisker-filled Thanksgiving!

Tonight is celebrated as a day for honoring our loved, departed pets. Please feel free to share stories and photos of your beloved pets as we celebrate the light, love, and joy they brought to us. ❤️

October 27th is celebrated as a day for honoring pets ahead of humans during the Mexican Día de mu***os holiday.

Ofrendas are created for beloved pets that have passed, filled with marigolds, treats, toys and keepsakes that help honor the animals that brought so much love and joy into your life.

The holiday is celebrated November 1-2, but honoring pets ahead of traditional celebrations is a growing tradition, and fairly new. Some believe that pets arrive ahead of humans to help guide them back safely. No matter the reason, it’s a way to celebrate animals that do so much for us in life.❤️

August’s Mouth of the Month is Revers!
Revers came in with severe nasal discharge and mucus due to his tooth infection. Deep pocketing beneath the gum line and plaque buildup worked together to make quite an ouchie mouth for this handsome boy!

Now, Revers is healing up beautifully and feeling much better, even with a new gummy smile. 🦷❤️
