After being struck by a car and left injured on a rural road, Gus defied the odds thanks to a good Samaritan who rushed him to safety. Despite suffering a traumatic brain injury and a fractured pelvis requiring surgery, Gus is expected to make a full recovery.

A shelter rescue pup, Gus transformed his pet parents’ lives, becoming the kids' best friend, his dad’s snuggle buddy, and a playful partner to their other dog. His family is determined to do whatever it takes to bring him home and help him heal.
