Hay season is in full swing, with that means we need more helping hands to unload hay into our hay loft.
If you could come help us out tomorrow Saturday July 19th, during the afternoon to help unload 2 wagon fulls. Around 3:30! We are also looking for Sunday July 20th during the day to also unload two more wagons. Please message us to let us know if you are able to come help! Thank you so very much.
The heat of the summer is definitely here. Our horses and humans are so very thankful for the fans this year. All because of our amazing community, TERRA is able to improve our facility for the best of our herd🖤

Mental Health is incredibly important for everybody🖤🧠💭
A glimpse into one of our volunteers story on how she found TERRA and how the wonders of the horses have helped her by gaining strength and finding her new abilities after being sick a couple of years ago. She has been incredibly helpful in the social media realm! Giving us pointers, helping us create content, and loving on our herd just as much as we have. We are 2 weeks away from May! Did you know that May is Mental Health Awareness month? The TERRA community is taking part again this year in the Seen Through Horses Campaign is an annual peer-to-peer fundraiser that raises money and awareness for programs that incorporate horses for mental health. At TERRA we aim to provide a space where people can experience just how powerful horses can be and how influential their presence can be. Please keep us on your radar in the next couple of weeks as we gear up for this campaign and help our staff, volunteers, and partners raise money for causes we believe in most.
In our afterschool program on Monday, the girls learned about wrapping horses legs. They learned about the different types, like polo wraps, standing wraps, and medicine boots. They each worked really hard when it was their turn to try the wraps.
As the days get longer and busier, just a gentle reminder to rest. Mental health is a huge priority and rest is something that benefits our ability to be mindful and present in our daily lives.
At TERRA Equine Therapy Center, we could not accomplish our mission without the help of our herd. We truly respect our horses as partners in our healing mission. Each horse at TERRA has their own personality, preferred activities, and their favorite snacks. Participants who come to TERRA quickly find the horse that is their match, often making lasting connections. Few things are as special as walking into a barn full of horses and have that special equine nicker when they see you!
