Over the month of November we will be raising money for a local nonprofit called Foliage Retrievers Service Dogs.

FRSD's mission is to place service dogs with individuals with PTSD that are underserved by existing organizations such as women with sexual trauma or people with other kinds of non-combat related PTSD.

Thank you to everyone who has already purchased a shirt or donated to NEADS through our CustomInk Fundraiser. ❤️ If you haven’t already, please considering supporting our fundraiser. We have a design for everyone and a variety of sizes ranging from Youth to 3XL. (Link to CustomInk will be in the comments down below) There will be more designs coming out for every season. Please let us know if there’s anything you’re interested in seeing us make whether it’s: - more t-shirts - vests - windbreakers - long sleeve t-shirts - quarter-zips - or items like water-bottles, beach towels, bandanas Once we reach our $4,000 goal we will be able to name a puppy. These dogs really do change the lives of individuals with disabilities. Thank you again for the love and support. This is a cause that means a lot to Harry and myself. 💕❤️

Max is a puppy preschooler in our program. Here he is learning the foundations for the implied stay. We build duration with commands like sit and down and teach him to only get up when he is released. He is also learning to get on place and stay there until he is released. You’ll notice our trainer, Martha does not use any commands with him at this stage. He is still in the luring and shaping stages of training, once she loves the behavior she will name it. If you have a new puppy or a dog you need help training call us at 603-250-8001 to set up a session. Here at Lakes Region Pet Resort, we also offer dog training, doggy daycare, boarding (for dogs 🐶 and cats 🐱), and a special service called in-home boarding for certain dogs such as older dogs or dogs that need more attention than most. We also offer the option of a board and train so your pets can learn while you're away.
