At Labrador Point Kennels we raise and hunt over our pointing red Dudley Labrador Retrievers.

At Labrador Point Kennels we breed for red Dudley Labradors, eebb genotype but in doings so we also produce tri-factored blacks or EeBb puppies, chocolate or Eebb and tri-factored yellows or eeBb puppies. The first litter from my tri-factored black and my solid red Dudley male should be going to homes about Christmas of 2013.

Due to recent events I am updating my puppy policy. I have 5, 1 male and 4 females, puppies right now and due to the increasing demand the puppy will leave on the 8th week at a time I will post later but probably 12 pm. You show up and hand me the sum that is in an email that you will message me and I will hand you a TexasRedLabradors puppy. First pics Sunday.

A Veterans Story. I left East Texas in 1974 for adventure in the Navy with my big brother and my best friend. I went to boot camp in San Diego and caught up with the USS Coral Sea CVA-43 at NAS Almeda, California then the 3 of us off to Vietnam. That was then and this is now: Navy Recruit Depot San Diego is a superfund cleanup site. USS Coral Sea was one of the most toxic ships the Navy has ever had and I would be here all day listing it's toxins. We now know why our water tasted like jet fuel. You can't just go to the store and get more water. NAS Almeda Calif is a superfund cleanup site due to well water contamination. We now know that if you dig a trench during WWII it might not be a good idea to put the fuel lines and water lines on top of each other in an earthquake zone. Based closed 1993 due to water well contamination. I am sterile. I have a couple of cancers. I have a heart that must be medicated to stay in rhythm along with high bp controlled by medications. I have cyst on a kidney. I have doctors appointments more and more instead of doing outdoor recreation. I have no cartilage remaining. I'm 69 and lucky. I'm still alive while the thousands that went with me are dead. When you see those ads about fire fighting foam and burn pit lawsuits from Veterans remember Every Veteran Has A Story. You just don't know it.

Got puppies and there are 4 girls and 1 boy. These pups are from Birdy and Max. This will be my second litter from Max but he has been breeding to a female in Central Texas. I will put out pics when their eyes open.

This was the cruise before our last one that closed out Vietnam. As director operator I was the guy in the front on Sky 1 which was on the starboard, right, forward side of the ship. This system, Sky 4, here I was Firecontrolman PO3 in the control room and aced a gunshot that got me a Battle E ribbon. From my view on Sky 1 during the Mauguez Rescue I have an eagle eye view of what went on during the Mauguez Rescue. I could not be seen by the bridge from where I was as the Mauguez came into view. This radar has almost like two telescopes to see and identify anything incoming. I'm looking at it and have communications open to the bridge when the guys in the control room go what can you see? The whole ship is at battle stations and no views outside except the bridge and a kid on the side of the ship that they can't see. Well I see a container ship with antennas strung all over it. That is a listening post. All of a sudden I'm told to secure Sky 1. I did and now with nothing to do I went down to help Henry in the armory.

This is Red and as weather warms I am starting the transition of him into waterfowl training. If I go hunting upland game or waterfowl they will do both. Here I threw 2 duck trainers into the middle of the pond then got Red who thought we were going upland hunting when I took him to the water where I told him back. He went on a blind retrieve for the first and had to remember there is another there also. I then sent him on a single and had him watch as another went down and he had to remember it. Great first waterfowl hunt.

Did chemo a couple of months ago. Did biopsy on a spot on my the back of my right wrist Tuesday wrist the size of a dime. My nice doctor called me yesterday and told me it is cancerous and we need to go to the bone. I guess that now we are going to play whack the mole with cancer. Good thing with all of this weight loss I no longer need to check my pulse I can see it.

Pups are getting into moms food. First shots this weekend and Purina Puppy Chow next week to help mom. Pups will be leaving around the 10th of April. They are some fat little ones for 3.5 weeks.
