I have been lucky to have many great contacts and resources during the past 7 years being involved with hunting WPGs. Jamie Kuhn (Aspen Glo), Gary Engebretson (Firebird), Mike Schippa (Fuzzy Dog) and the late Philippe Roca (Des Vignes Rouges) are among just a few of the many kennels and breeders that have been extremely helpful as I became involved with the breed.

Hard to believe Louie is 10 today.

While he certainly has slowed down a bit over the years, thankfully he is in great shape and still whines in his box as soon as he hears the gravel roads on the tires in Wisconsin and South Dakota as he has done since about 3 years old when he figured out that sound meant we were going to be chasing birds.

Here's to many more years of good health and fun adventures with you, bud!

Happy belated bday to the Hangon Sloopy B litter. Two of those pups have earned NA prizes so far!

And today is the A litter bday! That litter included the youngest VC WPG among other excellent hunting and family members.
