Luna is our first female LGD (Livestock Guardian Dog) She's purebred Great Pyrenees from working lines. She's grown into our front line against predators despite being our smallest LGD. She's the fiercest against predators and the softest with people. ❤️ Grateful for our floofs and the diligent work they do on our homestead under high predator pressure.

Our hardest working and most essential team members here at TranquiliT are our livestock guardian dogs. We have a wide variety of heavy predator pressure here and their 24/7 presence allows our chickens, goats and calves to live without being attacked. Grooming days for our floofs can be time consuming but an essential part of their maintenance care. We trim dew claws and thoroughly brush and work on any mats or problem areas. Each dog responds to grooming differently. Luna, shown in these pictures, absolutely loves it. Odin tolerates it but sulks for hours afterwards and Thor in his very very old age respectfully declines. Thor as an Anatolian shepherd has a better self maintaining coat than our Pyrenees floofs do.

Introducing mini Jersey calf Shiloh. Born January 14th. Overdue and completely shocked us by being a heifer. She has been such a delight for us. 😍 She's sweet spunky and vivacious and the culmination of everything we've been trying to breed for with our Jersey girls.
