Sweet Willow is looking for her purrfect home.
Wednesday is waiting for her forever family.
Can you say quirky? Tonic is not just your average bear, and her personality sure isn't. Tonic is in a foster home and has so many foster siblings that she let her family know... she is ready for her adoption day!
" Hello, my name is Tonic. I am a playful kitty, and my favorite toy, you ask? I LOVE scrunchies! My guilty pleasure is to steal them from my foster mom. I slide them accross the tile floor, chasing them the whole way, hiding them in the linen closet. This makes me bounce around with excitement as I see it fly. My stash disappears sometimes, but somehow, my foster mom always has more! I still haven't found how many kicks it takes to get to the center of a scrunchie shop. I thought about asking Mr. Owl, but somehow I don't think I'll find the answer I'm looking for. I will just have to keep sneaking them until I make a big enough dent.
I love playing with my foster siblings. I love wet cat food, pates, and sometimes I also sneak a taste of my brother's kitten food! Delectable lickable treats are my absolute favorite snack.
I am vocal sometimes meowing to the air but not very often. I prefer to sleep in my foster's open chest of drawers and sometimes go behind the drawers just to see how long they will play hide n seek with me. I think I've been made, though. Every time I play now, they find me so fast! If I don't come out for dinner, they know I have to be helped out because I am stuck. I always come a runnin for my food!
I like to sleep on my foster mom's head, neck, and tummy! I also like to pretend im my foster dad's favorite scarf. Their noses sometimes get in the way of my cuddles, though.
My foster mom is always telling me something about privacy when she goes to the litter box, but she always digs through mine.... I just don't get it. I just want to sit in her lap. My foster dad doesn't want my entertainment when he goes to the litter box.
Anyways, back to what is important! I want you! Come play hide N seek with me on Saturday!"
Look what we found at Starbucks on Hwy 96! Paws Awhile Cat Cafe business cards! It's a sign! Our kitties are anxiously awaiting 😍!
Nose boops from the kitties make any gloomy day better!🐾❤️
Tails Up Tuesday!
Today, meet Nigel. He is a 2 year old, medium sized, mixed breed. He is about 45 pounds. He is a sweetheart.
Nigel came to us as a nursing puppy with his mom and 3 siblings. He is the only one left. He keeps a clean kennel most days, walks well on a leash, and loves everyone.
Nigel enjoys running in his play yard. He can be high energy at times. He does well with other dogs, but will need a meet and greet.
Nigel loves to run and interact with the other dogs outside through the fence. He likes to bark at the rabbits and raccoons in the field behind him.
He loves to be petted and talked to by the volunteers. He is just an all around good boy.
If you are interested in Nigel, please complete the application at humanesocietyhoco.org.

And we keep waiting!!! 9 years and counting ! Even tho this was quite a bit of rain today… this is what we get in any heavy rain.
Mickey is available for adoption! ❤️ He is getting some great training with his foster mom Ruth Enlow who trains pups at Petsmart!
Baby kittens are everywhere and rescues are busting at the seams right now! Spay and neuter your kitties and doggies to halt unwanted litters. Be part of that process!
This little one is grateful we could squeeze one more into a foster home. A warm bottle of formula is doing the trick to curb that hungry tummy.
By the time I had the opportunity to video, the waters edges were diminished over four feet. Every heavy rain we get… we flood.
