We would like to congratulate our boarder, Mrs. Cathy & Kitty for an amazing run this weekend! This team is incredible and we are so proud!
“So, Kitty and I had a great run at the race last night! Did our personal best 17.2 seconds, placed second in the 5D, even won some money! Love this retirement journey! Thanks to Buddy for always being there ❤️Special thanks to Alexandria Durst (teacher extraordinaire) and the Frazier’s Homestead gang for helping me live my dream!”
Christmas Riding Camp
It is that time again!
CHRISTMAS RIDING CAMP
Fraziers’ Homestead’s Christmas Camp will be December 31 - January 4, Monday - Friday New Year’s week. Camp will start at 8:00 am and end at 2:00. We will start the day in the arena with a lesson and spend the rest of the day in the woods on horseback and probably eat lunch by the river. It is a camper and counselor favorite. Cost will be $375. If you are interested, please text Cathy at 225-280-0787. We hope to hear from you soon. These spots go quickly, so please respond as soon as you can.
Second day at Thanksgiving Riding Camp
Another great day at Thanksgiving riding camp. And are we grateful for the wonderfulriders and trails. Having a good time.
Gabby goes to the arena
After riding for a while she manages to gain control
Gabby gets it!
After wandering from stall to stall looking for tasty treats, Gabby catches on and takes charge.
Learning the very basic basics
This was Gabby's first time taking the reins. As you can see, before Gabby takes charge, Casie May goes from feed bucket to feed bucket hoping for a treat but Gabby catches on.
Kaylea 3
Kaylea came to us as a novice rider a few years ago. Her growth as a rider and a young woman is stunning. We are very proud of her and look forward to her future endeavors.
Stella, The water is always bluer in the next stall
We are shaking things up at Frazier's! Many improvements in the works. And this is just the beginning. Stay tuned....
