It took a while but eventually Dee’s ears were up. This sweet girl is getting back in shape after the winter off. She is heavy on the forehand and gets tight in her front end.

Zephyr was moving nicely after we worked through tightness in his hocks and shoulders. He was pretty sure the hay wagon was his personal buffet 😂

Dee was feeling very zen during our session. The pad helps loosen up her back when she is tight. There was enough fur on the floor to make a new horse by the end of the massage 😂

I use red light therapy pads to ease sensitive areas prior to massage or as the primary therapy when massage isn't ideal. I have worked with dogs and horses who aren't comfortable with hands on applications who benefit from red light therapy.

Dee is one of my favorite senior mares. I see Dee monthly to keep her limber while her rider is taking a break. Dee likes to go from zero to 100; massage keeps her zoomies healthy during the winter months.

Ladybird gets massage, KT tape and red light therapy sessions at home to help with muscle imbalances and joint issues. Therapy started when she was 11 months old when she first started showing symptoms.

Cookie received regular massage during the last couple years of her life. Like many retired racehorses she had stifle issues. During winter months, massage helped to keep her from getting too stiff. I think of Cookie every time I meet a sassy senior mare.
