Slow and relaxed... that is what I was hoping for and Sebastian patiently waited to back each hoof until I asked him to π₯° Such a good boy!
First time leading them together with their lights on. This is a work in progress to see which ideas are best, and how to make them better. I've never used lights on the horses before and they are doing such a good job with the lines swaying and rubbing on each other. Another fun night with the horses, even though it was really cold outside! (Real feel was 7*)
Since the ground is frozen and there are jagged mud pockets throughout the corral from their hooves, the horses are slow when moving and don't do much more than they need to. The walk down the roadside gave them the chance to flex their joints and move about as they wanted. It was great for all of us π₯°
I made a set of lights for Sebastian to wear in the dark too! I've still got improvements to make; this was just my first attempt and it's different than what I did with Noelle's lights. π
Noelle is walking up the hill at liberty to be with Sebastian π
The trees that lined the trail helped buffer some of the blustery wind today π΄
When you're walking your dog and horses through the woods and Noelle stops to let me know I dropped my glove π₯°
We had a lovely coating of snow this morning βοΈ π₯°
Terri and I got to watch a family of deer cross our path on Saturday. I was only able to film the last 2 pass in front of us. My favorite 3 legged deer was not in this grouping, but I did see it earlier in the week π¦
