Say hello to Sydney! 🐾👋

Sydney joined us in October and has quickly become a part of the CountryVets family. She loves how passionate and kind the team is, and she’s been enjoying meeting and helping both pets and their people.

Originally from Lake St. Louis, Missouri, Sydney earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Missouri. In her free time, she loves sewing and spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs. 🧵🐶🌳

Sydney’s favorite local spots include Allen Street Social , I. C. Billiards 2022 , The Glossy Goat , Reclaimed Book and Bean 📚☕️ When you meet her, you’ll quickly see how friendly and outgoing she is. Sydney says the easiest way to make her day is to spark up a conversation or surprise her with a coffee!

Say hello to Jenna! 👋

Jenna started with us as a veterinary assistant in June. She appreciates how inclusive and caring the team is, feeling like a big family that’s always willing to teach and help each other.

Originally from Newbury Park, California, Jenna is currently pursuing her Equine Management Certificate at the University of Missouri. With a goal of becoming a mixed animal veterinarian, she’s actively participated in both the Prevet and Dairy Clubs. She loves the diverse exposure to companion and large animals that she’s getting here at CountryVets.

In her free time, Jenna enjoys working and riding at , and her favorite local spots include and exploring Rock Bridge State Park. 🍦🌳 Her passion for veterinary medicine comes from a lifetime of feeling like animals were there for her in times of need and feeling called to give back to them.

Position: Full-time

Hours of Operation: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM

Who we are looking for:
🐶 Someone passionate about veterinary medicine and excited to contribute to the growth of a new veterinary clinic in Mid-Missouri.

🐶 A candidate with previous veterinary experience and strong technical skills, including blood draws, IV catheter placement, sample handling, obtaining patient histories, record-keeping, client communication, and low-stress animal handling.

🐶 An individual who demonstrates compassion for both our pet patients and their owners.

Note: This position primarily involves working with companion animals, mainly canine and feline patients, not our livestock patients.
