Help find this dog’s owner!

Lost dog found running on Rte B North of Davis Rd picked up by a Good Samaritan. The Hallsville PD now has him.

We suspect he is just lost from a near by house since he has a battery powered collar and a red harness.

Please help us find his owner! Thank you CV followers, you are the best!

A little over two years ago, as the foundation of CountryVets was being poured, we shared Dr. Angela Martin’s vision for a new kind of clinic. Dr. Angela and Dr. Neal Martin envisioned creating a space where pets WANT to visit, clients ENJOY bringing their pets, and employees THRIVE and GROW.

Since then, the Martin family has expanded, and so has their flourishing veterinary practice 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦🏥We are deeply grateful to the mid-Missouri community for your unwavering support over these past two years. It’s an honor to provide exceptional veterinary care to your beloved pets.

It’s National Bring Your Cat to the Vet Day! 😻 BUT WHY?...
➡️ ➡️ Cats tend to receive less vet care compared to our canine companions - It’s a common misconception that our cats don’t need as much preventative care as dogs 😿 Keep reading to learn why routine vet visits for cats ARE important for a healthy, long life:

🐾 Cats are susceptible to many preventable infectious diseases whether they are roaming the streets or staying indoors.
🐾 Cats are good at masking pain and illness - making it hard for pet owners to realize their cat isn’t feeling their best.
🐾 Both indoor and outdoor cats are at risk of parasites including coccidia, ticks, fleas, hookworms, roundworms, ear mites, & tapeworms. Regular testing & preventive meds can keep them protected.
🐾 With routine blood testing, aging cats can be diagnosed early & treated for common diseases such as diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and kidney disease.

CountryVets believes that cats should not only be seen as often as canines for wellness visits, but they should ✨ENJOY✨ the appointments, too! Mason and Maggie, we are so proud of you and wish you the best of luck in veterinary school at MIZZOU! It has truly been an honor to watch you grow and see you get accepted into veterinary school this past year. You will be wonderful veterinarians!

Sierra, good luck as you enter into your undergraduate studies at CMU. You will without a doubt excel in this next chapter of your life. The clinic will be a little quieter without you 😉

Lydia, good luck at MIZZOU starting your undergraduate degree in pre veterinary studies! We hope that you continue to grow in this field and find veterinary medicine as fulfilling as we do. We are so happy you will continue to work part time at our clinic while you attend MU.

CountryVets will be closed July 4th as well as July 5th to allow our staff members to spend a little extra family time this summer. That being said, we have opened up more appointment slots to help serve our patients July 1st through July 3rd.🎆🎆

If your pet is having an issue that seems to be lingering and you are considering having them seen, we urge you not to wait to make the appointment. Often times the day before a holiday veterinary clinics become quickly overbooked. Please call and set up your pet’s appointment ahead of time so that you are not caught in a bind over the long holiday weekend. 🎆🎆

Additionally, does your pet have firework anxiety?? If so, we have medications that can help provide them comfort through firework season. If your pet is a current patient, we can often discuss this over the phone and come up with options for your pet. If the pet is not an established patient feel free to call and set up an establish care appointment and we can discuss the best medications for your pet in person during their appointment. 🎆🎆
