Lots of work here, been very busy, the new kennel is almost ready. All of our dogs have had access to my air-controlled leather shop, but now we have joined an enclosed horse stall to it. It will be approximately 12x14. Not huge but definitely more room than I had before. I'll post a video once completed. So grateful to have the extra room on these crazy hot days and cold nights this winter.
Josie is growing up! Beautiful girl!
Also giving baths too frequently. ๐
Do you have an itchy pet? It could be allergies! Here are some common causes of allergies in dogs & cats. If you are concerned about your petโs skin health, contact your family veterinarian to determine the cause!

I have shared this before and I'll share it again as the two last litters born on 3/19 are approaching five months old. Please do your own research if/when your vet tells you to spay/neuter your babies! Please wait until at least nine months old. Some breeders even say to wait until they are 18 months old. But please, your babies are still babies! Do not neuter them until they are at least older than nine months.
โThese two boys are from the same parents, boy on the left was paediatric neutered and the other has stayed intact. As you can see, the development the right pup has compared to the left is undeniable, from his skull width, to his chest and shoulders.
This is the development pups will lose out on when desexing before full maturity.โ

Cool morning in Corgiville โคโค๐พ๐พ
Just got Josie's Embark test results. Yes, I pay for genetic testing on my dogs even though I own the dam/sire and have their Embark testing and know it's clear. I do this to ensure my puppy buyers who are not fluent in genetic testing so they don't have to just take my word for it, I want to provide the proof to them.
Josie is clear of DM, EIC VWD1, PRA, X-SCID.
He's as sweet as he is beautiful!
Definitely enjoyed having little Rusty here last week. He's such a good boy, he stays right with you all the time, wants to be with you. Great example of what I'm trying to achieve in my breeding program!
Hurry up with breakfast mom!
Shared from a fellow breeder..
What's the price of a puppy?
I get asked this multiple times a day. The look of horror that follows sometimes makes me chuckle.
A reputable breeder...whether show dogs or pet homes ...has so much of their life invested in their dogs and their care that never gets seen to the typical customer.
This past week as I shoveled poo and changed p*e pads for the umpteenth time this season, I wondered if it was worth it.
I wondered as I got up at 3 am two nights in a row to whelp puppies if it was worth it.
As I bathed and groomed puppies for potential clients that never show, I wonder is it worth it.
As my husband left for a business trip and I couldn't go because I have puppies in the house, I asked is it worth it?
As I go to the vet one more time and my care credit card is screaming at me, is it worth it?
As I ordered yet another shipment of dog food, is it worth it?
When I order vaccines and medications, genetic tests and registration papers is it worth it?
Depending on the day you ask me, truthfully the answer may vary.
There are days I want to throw up my hands and quit. There are days I get tremendous joy from producing an exquisite puppy or seeing the biggest smile on a customer's face when they get their life companion.
So remember when you ask a breeder how much for a puppy, there's way more involved that just a puppy.
Time, effort, medications, food, hard work, sleepless nights, missed events....we work hard to produce your baby!
So is my work and effort worth your companion for the next 14-18 years....you decide!
