Mako is on the mend! You can see his gnarly surgical site in the video; they repaired his perineal hernia and neutered him to prevent it from reoccurring. Poor boy has some feelings about it, evidently.

Well friends and family,

Mako is in need of surgery. The operation is scheduled for 1/24/25 whether this can get funded or not. I don't like asking for help, but there is no other option; he needs this procedure, and I'll do whatever it takes to get him healthy again.

An example of polymorphism in Armadillidium vulgare. A. vulgare can display varying amounts of yellow and white, some with none at all, others with large amount. These aren't mutations so can't be replicated with certainty. Selective breeding is the only option for increasing the odds of similar variations.
