We currently have 4 dogs available for adoption.

Emma- Older well bred female shepherd, spayed and utd on vaccines. Pulled from a shelter in NY after being held in a cruelty case. Phenomenal nose and tracks, great toy and food drive. Excellent girl once bonded to her handler. Can be civil. Dog selective.

Dewey- 6-ish yr old Doberman mix. Pulled from a kill shelter in Texas, utd on vaccines and neutered. Basic obedience, house and crate trained. Not good with cats. Has been great with my dogs, previous foster says not good with male dogs but we have had zero issues with him with both our intact and altered males. Application through Legend of the Paws

Bruno- senior male bloodhound, was originally trained for tracking and washed from the work. Adopted to a family, divorce happened and he needed to come back. Neutered, utd on vaccines and literally the best house dog you could ask for. He just wants a cozy couch all day.

Bijou- 5 yr old female chocolate Labrador, titled in dock diving, she knows the basics of hunting and basic obedience. Ecollar conditioned. Super dog that could easily be brushed up for hunting again. My late husband had planned to use her for hunting, with him being gone I dont hunt and I would love to see this girl have a job. Will be available mid December, contract and rehoming fee does apply.

All of these dogs will require an application and contract. They have appropriate adoption fees pending which dog.

Unfortunately Anna's current co-own home is unable to keep her any longer. We are looking for another co-owner for. She is from our Philo x Bijou litter, fantastic girl. House and crate trained, started on obedience. If you are possible interested in co-owning this girl with us please send a message!

He has found his forever! If you missed out in this guy we do have expected puppies from proven parents! I cant believe this puppy is still looking for a home! He is fantastic, social and environmentally sound. Excellent food and toy drives but also settles well. Loves being with people and doing well potty training. Akc reg, utd on vaccines and wormings and microchipped. Comes from health tested parents, his mother is a proven service dog producer. Send us a message if you are interested in him!!

Who doesnt want a comical, outgoing and people oriented yellow dog!? He has excellent drives for food/toy, environmentally sound and the most fun personality you could ask for!! He has started house/crate training and learning basic manners. He does love water and enjoys a good romp in the mud🫠🤣AKC reg, utd on vaccines and wormings and microchipped. This guys home fell through! Bruno the bloodhound just came back to me due to divorce after 6 years with his family. Bruno was a rescue, then trained by my late husband for tracking in law enforcement. Unfortunately, Bruno was washed because he was just too lazy to put the daily long hours of law enforcement work in, he much prefers a couch. So, Jay found him a home, as we take all of our dogs back, he came back to me. He is a great boy, house and crate trained, super sweet, walks well on lead. Good with all animals, kids, and anything else you can think of. This guy was near and dear to my husband's heart and as such I would love to find him a family to finish his days out with. Who wants a fun, farm loving yellow puppy! Health tested parents, utd on vaccines, worming and microchipped! These guys LOVE water, doing great with recall and are just generally happy to be alive. Honey, 5 yrs old, reg field bred Labrador retriever, health tested, is looking for a pet home. Honey is a velcro dog, she adores people including kids, other animals including dogs, cats and farm stock. She knows basic obedience and is over all a fantastic dog. She is available to an approved home.

Bijou, a 5 yr old, chocolate field bred labrador retriever, health tested and titled dock diving, has produced two fantastic litters including service dogs, police k9's and hunting dogs. She was intended for my husband to use as a hunting dog and since his passing I have been unable to continue her training as far as hunting. She LOVES it and I would love to find her a home with someone who intends to use her as a duck dog. She is available on co-own or outright purchase.

Potential owners will be heavily vetted and require references. Please send a message with interest. Sometimes phone calls can be hard (cell service) so to mitigate prepare a list of questions to send. Thank you!

Emma and Dewey are both very special rescues we have been fostering for quite some time. Both are fantastic dogs looking for just the right person!

Emma, 7 yr old female shepherd, spayed and utd on vaccines. I took her in from a cruelty case to help rehab her and hopefully find her a home. She is house/crate trained, needs a confident handler. Dewey, 6-ish yr old, doberman mix from a kill shelter in Texas. He was pulled by Legend of the Paws. Neutered and utd on vaccines, while he doesnt like cats he does ok with other dogs who arent bullies and neutral to farm animals. He does well on and off lead here on our farm. We have several adult dogs available for adoption!!

Pending***Honey- 5 yr old american labrador (fox red), health tested. She knows basic obedience and house/crate trained. Good on and off lead, great with kids, farm animals, cats and other dogs

Emma- a 7 yr old female shepherd, spayed and utd on vaccines. She was part of a neglect case and found herself in a shelter. I have worked with her on leash manners, accepting new people and being neutral. She is dog selective, not cat friendly but she does track and would be a fantastic dog for a knowledgeable handler wanting something well started.

Dewey- 6 (ish best guess) is a dobie mix from a high kill shelter in Texas. While he is a dog with Legend of the Paws, he has been fostering with me for 18 months or so. He is a great boy, walks well on lead, listens and has basic obedience. House trained, utd on vaccines and neutered. He doesnt care for cats but gets along well with other dogs and farm animals. Sometimes he can say hi to other males a bit over powering but is easily corrected.

Em-z aka Emma has been doing fantastic with tracking! She could easily do detection or other nosework games. She can be neutral around other dogs but would do best with a male only dog household. Ignores cats but will chase if not monitored. Typical high drive shepherd, does settle well when asked. Knows basic obedience, learning ecollar. She needs a confident handler but will def be a lot of fun for the right person. She has an excellent pedigree behind her, spayed, utd on vaccines, flea/tick and hw meds. She has been with us from a seizure for several months now and is def ready for just the right situation. Rehoming fee and contract doe apply or will be donated to a police department.

Mavis is Philo and Shadow's half sister, I am going to offer her on co-own or outright to an approved home. She would LOVE to do all the sports, fastcat, nose games, detection, etc. this girl has a fabulous nose and fabulous work ethic. Unfortunately I have had her on the back burner and its looking more and more like I will not have the time to work her like planned. Dewey still needs a home, my guy has been in foster care over 2 years!! He deserves an awesome family who will spoil him and take him all the places. He is social but shy, loves walks, LOVES water. Corgi female, a little over a year old, registered. Red merle, basic obedience and house trained, good on and off leash even with farm animals and barn cats. Utd on vaccines, wormings! Gets along with dogs big and small, she doesn’t care for super rude dogs who dont greet nicely but easily redirected from it. Over all an excellent little dog and would make someone an excellent companion!

Current location: Centreville MD but meets within reason are no issue.

Dewey, a dobie mix, absolutely is in need of a best friend. He has been in rescue for several years now, pulled from a high kill shelter, and been with us for close to a year if not a little longer. He is house and crate trained, basic obedience trained, loves to hang out and LOVES water. He does not like cats, gets along with most dogs and neutral with livestock. Sometimes intact males he can be a bit guarded with. He was formerly hw+ but has been treated and is all good! He is neutered, utd on vaccines and preventatives. I would LOVE to see this boy find his forever home for the summer.
