Thank you, Paw Pals Pet Sitting, for shining a light on Wako – this solid 81 pound handsome man looking for his forever home!
Say hi to Wako! Wako’s a neutered male with a heart of gold, though it might take a little patience to see it shine. He tends to be a bit shy around new folks and can be nervous in his kennel, but once he’s out and about, he warms up quickly and soaks up pets like a champ.
Because of his cautious nature, we recommend taking things slow, let him come to you, and you’ll be best buds in no time. Wako’s been described as friendly with most adults, a little unsure around small kids, and indifferent toward new animals. As always, we recommend meet-and-greets with all two-and four-legged canine family members, just to make sure Wako’s the perfect match for your crew.
Wako is located at the Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Hours of operation are Tuesdays and Wednesdays 12-5 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays 12-7 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
