Here’s Dexter…he is almost 9 years old and your typical bulldog… he has those folds of skin that sometimes need to be cleaned and he has eye issues that need medication twice a day. He does not do well with cats and should probably be the only dog in the household.  For an old man he has lots of energy, so if there are children in the home, it’s preferred that they be older, not toddler size.

15 y/o Nathaniel Augment last seen @ 5:30pm in the 5400 b/o Crossrail Dr in Burke wearing a black hoodie w/ red print, gray sweatpants and black/gray new balances. He is 5’5’’, 130lbs, has brown hair & brown eyes. Endangered due physical health concerns. Call 911 w/info.

From December 21st to December 24th, we invite you to visit our shelter and adopt one of our animals. If the chosen pet is eligible for release, meaning it has been spayed or neutered, Santa Paw and his elves will deliver your new furry companion to your home on Christmas morning. Please note that all standard adoption procedures apply.

Delivery is limited to residents of Prince William County, the City of Manassas, or Manassas Park. Qualifying animals for delivery include dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Our goal is to deliver the best available veterinary medicine, and to make every client and their furry, feathered or scaled friends feel at home and comfortable when they walk through our doors. Deepwood has been a family-owned practice serving our Northern Virginia community since 1971.

Our skilled, compassionate, professional staff provide exceptional medical and surgical care, as well as complementary medical treatments including acupuncture, herbal and cold laser therapy. We strive to educate pet owners, enabling them to make informed choices regarding their pet’s health and wellness. In addition, we offer outstanding on-site boarding, grooming and dog training services. We gladly treat dogs, cats, “pocket pets,” reptiles, horses, cattle, small ruminants, pigs, camelids and birds.

While we practice quality medicine and offer “one stop shopping” for all of your pet’s needs, we never forget that there are many abandoned and homeless animals in our region that may need extra care while they wait for their forever homes. With that in mind, we strive to give back to our community by working closely with several local rescue organizations. We work with many local animal shelters, and even have our own Deepwood Animal Rescue Fund.
