All About Dogs Our beautiful one of a kind facility has everything you and your dog need under one "woof". Stop in All About Dogs opened its doors June 4, 2005.

Our 6,800 square-foot facility was home to our doggy daycare, retail store, photography studio, self-serve dog wash plus one part-time groomer and canine masseuse. After the first year, we realized that we needed to keep adding services. What else could we offer our clients? Overnight Boarding!! In December 2006, we opened our first kennel: 12 rooms. The overnight idea was a success. Our clients w

ould insist that we care for their dogs while they were out of town, even if all 12 rooms were full. They would bring in their own crates for their dogs to stay. And before we knew it, we had crates all over the building in order to accommodate our client’s wishes. In March 2010, we added 1,000 square feet and an additional 10 rooms. Needless to say, they were filled immediately, and the demand continued to grow. By summer 2011, we knew we needed a much larger facility. In September 2011, we began the first phase of our expansion. We re-located the retail store, self-serve dog wash, canine massage, and grooming to the front building, overtaking the entire 17,500 square-foot facility. Since 2011 we have added additional services. We now offer 3 taxies providing drop off and pick up services to and from our facility, as well as in home care services to our clients. Our K9 bakery offers specialty cakes and fresh baked treats for all occasions. We expanded our Wellness Services to include canine massage, Reiki, acupressure, laser therapy and senior dog fitness. The most recent expansion took place in 2019 with our dog training department. Our dog trainers offer a wide variety of group classes for puppies, adults, and specialty classes such as Reactive Rover and Agility Foundations courses. We offer Therapy Dog International and Canine Good Citizen Testing, STAR Puppy, and Trick Dog Title options. Our training department expansion included the construction of our enrichment training room, and most recently the construction of a brand new 2,000 square-foot training facility. Our now 19,500 square-foot facility offers everything your dog needs under one woof! Including 58 overnight rooms, separate daycare areas for small and large dogs, 7 large fenced in outdoor play areas, 3 pet taxies offering in home care services 7 days a week, dog grooming 7 days a week, K9 bakery, a variety of wellness services, private and group dog training classes, enrichment and park walk services, a self-service dog wash and a pet photography studio. We are also the official preferred venue for Rescue Village’s (Geauga Humane Society) training classes and we participate in their foster dog program by providing a dedicated room to help a selected dog find his/her forever home. We continue to strive to be the best pet service company for our clients and set the standard for which all pet service businesses should operate.

Meet Pam & Kevin, the Miniature Pinscher Mix with a heart full of personality and adventure! 🐾❤️

Kevin is 6 years old and loves nothing more than going for walks, jumping on logs, and crossing stones he finds along the way. Whether he's exploring or enjoying some quiet time with his owner Pam, Kevin is always up to something fun!

Pam first met Kevin when she was his trainer at Veteran Canine Connection. At the time, Kevin didn’t have a match with a veteran, and his foster home was no longer available. After Pam’s dog passed away, she felt a deep connection with Kevin and decided to give him a forever home. 🏡

One of Pam’s favorite memories with Kevin happened during a nose work trial. Kevin was tasked with searching around two wood piles. Pam thought he might start hunting for critters, but Kevin surprised her by walking straight to a spot on the first pile, tapping it with his paw to signal he’d found the scent. “Alert!” Pam called, and Kevin nailed it! 🦴🔍

Kevin’s talents include his passion for nose work, his “alley oop” move where he backs his hind paws onto an elevated surface, and performing waves and high-fives on cue! 🙌

Pam’s advice for dog owners and potential adopters: “Don’t adopt or buy a dog based on looks or trends. Make sure to understand the breed(s) and their needs. For example, a snuggle bug may not be a great match with a high-energy working or herding dog.”

Fun Fact about Kevin: He LOVES jumping on and walking across any log or stone he finds during walks, turning every outing into an exciting adventure! 🌲🐾

Kevin’s story is a beautiful reminder that love, patience, and understanding can lead to an incredible bond. Whether it’s nose work or simply enjoying a walk together, Pam and Kevin prove that the best connections are built by truly getting to know and appreciate each other for who they are. 💖

Hound & Human Spotlight - Meet Melinda, Dash & Shadow!
Dash and Shadow are both 8 years old. Dash is a Beagle and Jack Russell mix, while Shadow is a mix of Rottweiler, Lab, Border Collie, St. Bernard, and Staffordshire Terrier.

Dash loves running, hiking, dock diving, cuddles, and his toy squirrel. Shadow enjoys running, hiking, lounging in the sunroom, playing in the snow, and playing with his stuffed dog.

Dash came into Melinda’s life after being rehomed by a previous client who had adopted him from an Amish puppy mill. The client developed severe allergies, and Melinda and her partner took Dash in. Shadow was a Christmas gift from Melinda to her boyfriend after months of searching for the perfect companion. They found Shadow after many visits to meet other potential adoptable dogs.

Some of their best memories include an 8-hour hike up Little Green Mountain in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina, which they all loved.

Dash is an incredible jumper and participates in dock diving, while Shadow has mastered tricks like spinning, shaking, crawling, and backing up. They’re both amazing running partners.

Melinda’s advice for dog owners is to choose a dog that’s a good fit for your family, not just one because it’s cute. She also suggests being patient with a new dog, as the adjustment period typically takes 3-6 months. Dogs may have past trauma that requires extra patience and understanding.

A fun fact about Dash is that he sometimes helps Melinda with her reactive dog clients at work. Shadow has worked through anxiety and PTSD from past traumas, but now he’s the most obedient dog they’ve ever owned.

If your dog has completed Puppy Kindergarten or Beginner Basics, it's time to sign up for Level 2 – Building on Basics! This class will build on the skills you've already mastered while introducing new techniques to help your dog become an even more well-mannered family member.
