We’ve got a new addition to the Chalmette family and we couldn’t be more excited 😍

Luna came in for her first puppy visit alongside her brother, Baxter, who comes to see us three times a week for his fluid therapy! We’re so excited to add Luna to our family and believe us when we say we had a pocket full of sunshine when she came in🤭🤩

ATTENTION CLIENTS‼️

K9 and kid alike, we’re having a blast out here in the snow! Tater and Biscuit also wanted to let everyone know our office will be CLOSED again Wednesday January 22nd.

Due to the upcoming inclement weather, our office will be CLOSED Tuesday January 21st. A team member will be contacting those with appointments scheduled shortly to reschedule any appointments made. ❄️

We are hopeful to re-open Wednesday January 22nd, but we will post another update once we know more.

Today we were invited to a lunch and learn at Animal Hospital of Old Metairie to learn about heartworm prevention in felines! Yes you read that right, felines!

Staying up to date on veterinary medicine and practices help us practice the best medicine for your pets and helps our technicians and doctors have a better client education database. 🐾🤍

We will not have a doctor on site on Saturday January 4th. We will have a receptionist in the building to assist with any phone calls and medication pick ups.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We will return to normal operation on Monday morning.

As this year comes to an end we’d like to give a special thank you to our team for all of the hard work they have done this year. Last Friday we celebrated all of the hard work they do with the 1st annual “PCC Fundies” and awarded everyone a trophy 🐾🤩

We’ve shared a lot of laughs, a lot of tears, and way too much caffeine. We’ve lost valuable team members and gained some new eager ones. We’ve learned how to practice “fear free” medicine, and how to better help our patients.

We’ve grown in our roles in the clinic and have branched out with new training protocols and are always learning something new every day.

We are grateful to each and everyone of our team members, and we are grateful to YOU our community for allowing us to help serve you and your fur babies. Here’s to another year! 🤍

We are closed today December 24th, as well as December 25th to allow our staff to spend time with their family during this holiday season. We will reopen Thursday December 26th.
