Since 1952, we've been caring for the community's furry family members. Our dedicated, caring, and experienced team is prepared to answer your questions and help to keep your pet in its best health. Just like your P*P, we practice general practice medicine and our hours by appointment only. Urgent and emergency care is referred to the veterinary ER or veterinary urgent care. Locally owned and oper

ated, we are a 2 doctor primary care veterinary clinic (Dr. Emily Shew, Virginia-Maryland V’02 and Dr. Emily Brydon, Illinois V’20) that provides evidence-based preventative medicine and surgical care for dogs, cats, exotics, hobby farm animals, and small ruminants. (Dr. Brydon sees a variety of small and hobby farm animals, while Dr. Shew sees small animals and exotic appointments and surgeries). Our services by appointment include:
• Wellness examinations for all life stages
• Vaccinations
• Professional dental cleaning and extraction services
• Routine/preventative surgeries (spay/neuters)
• Elective surgeries (lump/mass removal, cystotomy, cherry eye correction, entropion correction, ear hematoma repair, exploratory; etc)
• Comprehensive Exams
• Diagnosis and treatment/management of injuries.
• Ultrasound
• Digital X-ray
• Endoscopy
Urgent care and emergency care and referred to a local ER across the PA/MD line about 20 minutes away from our hospital.
