❤️ We've been MIA from social media for a few months but have still been very busy with pet sitting visits! We still care for cats and other small animals, like these adorable sugar gliders, Picket & Posey! 😊 Life is crazy for us nowadays so I apologize for the silence on here. We both work full time jobs, pet sitting, and have had our foster son for almost 6 months now! 🥰

Denali is checked in at AECC in Leesburg where he will start IV fluids and antibiotics, prepping for surgery tomorrow :(

I said good night to him and told him that he has a whole village behind him and he is going to be okay 💙 He gave me a kiss and looked at me... and I knew then that he knows... and he believes me 💙

We were able to pay the estimate for the ER tonight (he will stay for an extra day or so) and we need to pay the $7000 estimate for the Surgery department between 7:30 - 8:00 tomorrow morning or he will get put on hold, meaning more days at the ER as surgery would be next week... and we don't want that!

🎉 Today marks 🌟 One Year 🌟 I've been working for Embrace Pet Insurance! Boy this year has flown by. It's had lots of ups and downs but mostly ups! I feel so blessed to work from home with my own furbabies. I have met so many amazing new people and made lots of friends. I love being able to help thousands of pet owners around the country. Telling someone their claim was covered and they'll get their money back. Having someone tell me without Embrace they would have had to send their pet over the rainbow bridge. I take some pretty difficult calls too but that's life. 🥹

This company truly cares about its customers as well as its employees. Our boss is one of the kindest and understanding people I've ever met.

I took a huge risk of drastically downsizing my own business I spent years building and growing, to take a risk on this job. It is by far one of the best decisions I've made in a long time. I sincerely miss my pet sitting clients I don't visit anymore though, I think of them all the time. I am still so grateful for the kindness and understanding from those clients and I know your new sitter loves all of your pets dearly 🐾

I feel so lucky today to be celebrating one year! 💓 Here's to many more to come. 🐾

"Kipsey" went missing today (1/26) around 3-4pm. Older female pug mix, 14 yrs old, not wearing collar/tags, is chipped. She's blind and almost completely deaf. If seen or found, please contact (717-504-2239). Thank you!

So I got home about 45 minutes ago (it's 12:30am) from dropping Denali off at Friendship Hospital for Animals in DC... I picked him up at 5:45 or so in Leesburg and we got to DC around 7... they took him right away after checking me in but I had to wait almost three hours until a Dr could eval him & talk to me... they were very busy :(

I had to apply for Scratch Pay for the low-end of his estimate and they will need the rest of the estimate when they call tomorrow before proceeding... his Fundrazr has only gotten $25 so far (Thank you, Steve!)... I paid the $1000 from Saturday's bake sale on his Leesburg account on Monday & made another payment to them when I picked him up (We still owe Leesburg almost $5000)...

We have the Fundrazr going on... we have the specials on the auction page... we have the hoodie/shirt fundraiser activated... we are getting a great response to the Bingo... but we need to make his payment to Friendship now :(
